I am an Atlanta based personal trainer. I recently retired from the active army. During my 21 years of being a soldier, physical training was a way of life. Although grueling and rigorous at times, it has helped me to become mentally and physically tough, build E'sprit de Corps, and more disciplined. Why does the military emphasize physical conditioning so much? because it is a proven fact that regular physical activity along with a properly balanced nutritional diet can drastically reduce the risk of injury, certain diseases, and improve one's quality of life.
