My daughter just took first piano lesson with Teal Justice. Ms. Teal is a great teacher. I was afraid if my daughter (almost 5 years old) is not too young to take piano lessons. Teal was patience with my daughter, and she was absolutely awesome on our first piano lesson.

I would highly recommend Mrs. Olga McNeill as a flute teacher. She is very experienced, talented instructor and knows how to connect with children. Mrs. Olga teaches our daughter for over a year and we have noticed a big improvement in her playing. Our daughter enjoys her flute lessons and practices every day.

I absolutely loved my time at V. C. Giles Music Studio. I learned so much about music theory and technique. What I learned even helped me when I joined a chorus class. Even though I have not taken piano lessons in over a year, I still play for fun occasionally. Mrs. Valencia is also a great role model. She taught me a lot about life and happiness and helped me become confident in who I am. I have only good memories from this studio!

My book club came to Seven Arts Center on a Saturday night. Makeba, the Instructor, was thorough and attentive. The live DJ was a plus. Helpful staff. Good environment. We had a great time. We all felt comfortable. We laughed, we painted, we drank. I will definitely be back.

My son has been receiving piano lessons for @ 1 month. His teacher, Ben Phillips, is great. The lessons are fun and easy going, and he really looks forward to the evenings that he has lessons. I don't even have to bug him to practice. It has been great!

Alex has been giving our 12 year old son alto saxophone lessons at our home for over a year now. We interrupted the lessons when our son started middle school because we wanted to explore how his new 6th grade schedule would go. We regretted that decision and are now back with Alex. Our son missed Alex tremendously because even though he took band every day and jazz ensemble on Thursdays, he missed Alex's excellent insight, professional approach, and knowledge of teaching the alto sax. Alex knows what he is doing, and he is interested in our son's progress, with patience and good motivation, he does not believe in intimidation, on the contrary he helps our son feel confident and relaxed. His education and knowledge of music, especially jazz, is capacious and real. He is punctual and ready to go when he arrives and gives excellent suggestions for what needs to be practiced between lessons. We hope to continue lessons with Alex for as long as he is willing and available. We strongly recommend him as a music teacher!

About

I teach flute and piccolo lessons to all ages and levels. My students' ages range from seven to over 65. It doesn't matter what your goals are. Whether your goal is to win an audition or play for pleasure, we will work together to meet your goal and have fun in doing it! I encourage students to participate in semiannual recitals that I organize as well. It's a great way to mark progress and inspire the student to learn more.

Jason is a patient woodwind player who has mastered Sax / Saxophone, clarinet and flute. He quickly assessed my son's skills and began a program that grew his skills in an achievable manner given the common conflicts of school and sports. Our son grew in skills and confidence during the 3 months we had Jason as a teacher. We would use him again and highly recommend him.
