FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We know you didn't come on Thumbtack to be price gouged but cheaper isn't always better. Therefore, we provide the most comprehensive inspection at the most reasonable pricing starting at $249. It's a win-win because our hard-working inspectors are paid a fair wage and you get the outstanding service and price you deserve.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Most new customers contact us via phone. At that time, you'll speak with one of my very friendly and knowledgeable client services representatives who will explain what we offer and answers all of your questions. If you decide to schedule an inspection, that can be done right over the phone or on our website. If you attend the inspection, your inspector will ensure that they maintain a good balance between thoroughly inspecting the home and responding well to any questions, concerns or other input you have. Also, the inspector will often share any significant findings on the spot. Upon completion, the inspector will verify that you are satisfied and within 24 hours, a full report will be sent to you via email.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My education includes bachelor's degrees in Architecture and Environmental Design as well as a master's certificate in Project Management from Boston University. Additional training and certifications have been earned from the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI), International Association of Indoor Air Consultants, National Swimming Pool Foundation and others.
