Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Surprisingly enough, one thing I hear a lot is how I'm one of the few therapists who actually listens to and focuses on your issue. I won't fall into a routine with maybe a "light" focus on what you asked. You're paying for this time and I plan on making it worth every cent. Anyone can rub your shoulders, but it takes an attention to detail to heal them. Helping others. Seeing someone heal before your eyes and knowing it was brought on by you is more than gratifying. And of course with every session I learn something new. Whether it relates to the mind, body, universe, job descriptions, the weather in India, you name it...there's so much happening in the world. I'm here to take it all in.

Hello, I wanted to write to say a sincere thank you to Andrew for helping me discover the source of my knee pain (that has been going on for years). Yesterday I thought I was coming in for a relaxing massage, but Andrew had a different itinerary! As he addressed the recent chiropractic issues the office had been working on, he noticed in my file that I've been mentioning knee pain on and off for awhile. When he asked me about it, I said that I used to be an athlete, my family has bad knees to begin with, and it's probably something that will always be there. I don't think he agreed with me. As he began work on my legs and knees, he pointed out what my I-T band is and how it connects within the body. After a few trigger point exercises, I could feel his point - mine needed some work and very clearly is contributing to the knee pain. I can't say it was the most "relaxing" massage I've ever had, but it made a world of difference. I went to spin class this morning and had NONE of the calf or low back pain that I've become accustomed to during class. As I sit here typing, I have my knees bent under my chair, and I don't feel like my knee is trying to rip itself in half. I also went online to do some reading, and everything he said makes soooooooooo much sense. Again, I want to say thank you, because I feel like I finally have an idea of what's going on, AND I know what I can do to fix it! I will definitely be coming back for more! All smiles, Erin Strathdee

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

For your safety, it's important to contact any LMT you plan on seeing for the first time by phone. And remember massage is a very versatile industry. Every case is unique, so communication is key for each session. That includes things like previous therapists you've seen and the work they performed that either did or didn't work. It's ok to tell us if you were unhappy with a service or didn't like a technique. Never forget, we're here for you.
