Taking violin lessons (and now viola) with Paige. It's been a much better experience for me than my first time trying to learn violin. I appreciate that she's willing to adapt her lessons to my own goals and also select music that is actually pleasing to listen to even for an absolute beginner. As some other reviews mentioned, she's also very quick to reply to any messages.

She is very nice and easy to talk to. She believes in what she teaches. She is very optimistic and helps me with my confidence. She worked with me at my home. My lessons are 30 minutes but a good thirty minutes. Her quality of work is good.

Cool guy and super knowledgeable about music. His lessons go much deeper than just learning songs, he's going to teach you the theory behind them and how to understand/deconstruct them, which I really appreciate. You really get a sense that he has a plan for you to improve, he keeps track of your progress and has a program for you as a player. I also like the informal atmosphere, he's easy to talk to. Would definitely recommend him to any player looking to improve.

Awesome teacher!! I have been taking lessons for five years with Eric and can honestly say that I would not be where I am as a guitarist today if I hadn't. As a teacher, Eric helps to explain not only "how" to play, but goes further to explain the "why" behind it all, teaching the "music theory" behind what is being played in a way that is both understandable and applicable to becoming a better musician. Starting out as just a beginner, I knew that there was always something new that I could learn from Eric, from learning how to play my favorites songs, to being taught new chord structures and scale concepts, I always had something cool, exciting, and challenging to go home and practice. I would highly recommend Eric as a teacher for anyone looking to become a better guitarist and musician.

For the last few years, I've had the pleasure of accompanying Suzanne's students at their spring voice recitals. Her students are all different ages and personalities, and from a vocal perspective, they also vary in their musical training and skill level. For each student, she knows exactly what to do to bring out the best in them. I've come to admire Suzanne's extensive musical background and repertoire -- she teaches a variety of song styles with ease. The accompaniment I've provided has ranged from the classics to Broadway to everything in between. Speaking of the classics, outside of English I've heard her students sing in German, Italian, Latin ... and probably one or two other languages I can't think of right now. Suzanne challenges her students in such a way that lessons are fun as well as instructive. In addition to the mechanics, she works with students on memorization, presentation, stage presence and recital etiquette. In addition to that - for the more adventurous students - Suzanne comes up with some awesome choreography! Highly recommend!!

Kris is an excellent teacher, professional and great with my child. My child is now learning at a faster rate and enjoying piano much more under his instruction. Lessons are super convenient since he comes to our home. Also, his fee is very reasonable for the level of knowledge he had and that my child is receiving.

My son has been receiving piano lessons for @ 1 month. His teacher, Ben Phillips, is great. The lessons are fun and easy going, and he really looks forward to the evenings that he has lessons. I don't even have to bug him to practice. It has been great!

Marshall has given our daughter music lessons for two years. He is a talented player and has a deep understanding of music. He is also an effective teacher and a friendly person. He has instilled an important creative discipline in our daughter’s life. He is able to break down the fundamentals of music in a way that she can apply knowledge to her playing. He has an intuitive knack for understanding how to guide her to learn. We feel fortunate that Marshall Isseks was recommended to us and we wholeheartedly recommend him to others interested in learning to play an instrument, understanding theory and enjoying the art.

This is for my 13 year old son. He was taking vocal classes in Detroit but we just recently moved to Atlanta. He's kind of shy but tends to open up on stage. He has gotten a little frustrated because his voice is changing and getting deeper. I was hoping someone could teach him to control it and be confident. watch him on YouTube at 'Orlando Dougherty singing Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire'. He also has about 8 other videos on there. Thanks

I am Claire's step mother Annie she is at our home every Thurs & every other weekend. Claire is 9 years old. She loves to sing, dance, perform, choreograph, write lyrics etc. she has a piano & guitar at her mothers home. She has a keyboard & access to her fathers guitar at our home. she has had about 10 piano lessons with a piano instructor that is no longer avail. They went well & she had lots of great success. The only issue was she was not being supervised by her mother & was some times practicing incorrectly. We are most interested in voice lessons just because she has that with her always & can practice anywhere. She is able to read basic music & is excellent at memorizing lyrics. She would like to be a writer & or perform in musical theater. I can hear a strong & unique voice when she sings. I know that singing will also help build confidence, patience, mindfulness, eye contact, etc.
