Patty is a bundle of energy and that energized me to get started with her on my HORRIBLE basement. She helped me consider the piles of worthless stuff I had been saving and made it so easy for me to let it go. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?We work on an hourly rate which is based on the nature of the work being performed. The number of hours for each project varies. At the outset, we understand your financial concerns and will work within your organizing budget. We also offer organizing packages that we can tailor to fit your needs and budget. Call us to discuss rates and a custom package for you.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?An initial consultation is simply a phone call away. At this meeting, you will get to know us and understand how we work. At the same time, we ask a lot of questions to understand your struggles that you may be experiencing from a less than organized home. We will tour your home and offer suggestions and ideas. The initial meeting usually lasts 1- 3 hours and includes establishing a budget scheduling the first work session addressing the scope of project answering your questions
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Patty Sherrod is the founder of Smart Organizing Solutions. Her goal in creating this company was to take the organizational and time management skills acquired over many years and use them to help her clients. By creating organized spaces and homes, Patty allows her clients to be more productive thereby bringing peace to their own lives. Pattyʼs passion for organization dates back to her childhood in New Orleans. She attended Loyola University, graduating with honors with a sociology degree. After obtaining her masters degree from Tulane University, Patty worked as a clinician counseling patients in the mental health ﬁeld. In 2005, Patty moved to metro Atlanta where she began a new career in real estate- both residential sales and rental property. Here, she honed her craft of organizing with an emphasis on space management and design experience. After years of helping friends and family members create organized homes, she started her professional organizing business. Today, Patty works with clients all over the southeast.
