As a physician, I witnessed the long-term effects of physicial inactivity on the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of my patients. I saw countless cases of diseases that could either be prevented or treated with physical exercise. In many cases, people had a general awareness of the benefits of exercise, but were fuzzy on the details. A vast number of illnesses -- including diabetes, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, chronic back pain, depression, and anxiety -- can be managed solely with exercise combined with a healthy diet. That's right. No pills, no insulin injections, and no trips to the therapist. It's surprisingly simple. Why, then, is it so difficult for people? My opinion is that it is a matter of attitude. Most people see exercise as a chore rather than a celebration. Instead of it being a chance to feel free and elated, exercise is something that people dread. I can tell you with absolute honesty that there has been almost nothing more beneficial to my happiness and well-being than physical activity. It gives me a sense of joy and aliveness that I hope to bring to each and every client I work with. Sure, you'll look great, but that's secondary. It's how different you will feel that is of primary importance. My approach is to make exercise fun. I use a combination of resistance training, plyometrics, and core work that engages your whole body during the workout. By using constantly varying workout routines, your body will be rapidly transformed. Whatever your particular goals are, I am there for you every step of the way as a guide and as a motivator!

I came to Thumbtack looking for a trainer to specifically provide workouts to help me lose weight while being low impact for my knees. V listened to concerns during our first meeting and has created workouts that are challenging and high intensity. I look forward to the fact that every workout is different. Already I can feel improved strength in the one leg that I have been favoring for so long! V's coaching style is also excellent. I feel pushed past when I would normally give up while feeling encouraged if have to take a breather. We were able to set up a schedule for 3x a week with relative ease. I do travel to the Civic Center area to workout with him, but I do not have a gym where he could come and train me. So far, I have only had great experiences with V!

V is a fantastic trainer who's able to identify weaknesses and improve on them immediately. He varies every workout with a great mixture between weight training as well as cardio while focusing on getting you into the best overall shape possible (unfortunately that means plenty of leg days haha). Definitely recommend him if you're looking to get into great shape, and his medical background is a major plus if dealing with any health complications.

I’ve trained with V for about 8 weeks. He continually pushes me to the brink each session and varies the workouts to challenge me and keep it interesting. I’ve worked with several trainers over the last 4 years and V has produced the biggest results for me by far.

I highly recommend V to anyone seeking a personal trainer. My 17 year old daughter and I train with V twice a week. I appreciate how V starts the workouts on time and develops a different workout plan each and every time. For my daughter and I this adds excitement and a new challenge each time. In a matter of weeks we could see the results. My daughter dropped several dress sizes and excited as she prepared for prom and her new toned body! V takes training and overall results serious, you will not be disappointed.
