Honestly i would give a 5/5. After just working with SML for only a few months tasks that where overwhelming me are no longer a thought in my mind. I asked Shakila to coordinate my wedding which took place in New Jersey. Since Shakila and I both reside it two different states it was easier for her to send me the required information informing her of my wants, needs, desires and basic information she needed to preform her job via email. Shakila checked in on me daily, to ensure everything was running smooth, which I greatly appreciated. When it was time for the wedding she flew to NJ and got to work on my wedding without missing a beat! Her work ethic was amazing! She took care of all my family, guest, and vendors. She ensured everything was under control, so I did not have to worry about anything. My only job on my big day was to make it down the aisle and enjoy my new husband. She did a spectacular job! SML Assisting's pricing shown is for services provided. Any onsite work is subject to mileage being billed separately according to the prevailing GSA Privately Owned Vehicle Mileage Reimbursement Rates.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The typical process for working with a new customer is to have the client complete a questionnaire so that I understand the complete needs to be met. Then we will have a phone conversation to clarify what service is to be provided. Lastly, pricing will be confirmed and a contract with invoice will be sent.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I spent 18 years in the hospitality industry planning meetings and events. With this I have the know how to produce quality events all while staying within budget - most times under budget! Certifications Associate of Applied Science in Office e-Ministration, 2013 Certified Wedding Professional, 2019 Ordained Officiant, 2021 Memberships Certified Wedding Planner Society, 2019 National Society of Black Wedding and Event Professionals, 2021
