Our dedicated team of professionals mission is to exceed your expectations and provide a seamless transition to your new destination.
Our FULL SERVICE moving is strictly time based and starts at a base price of ($125/hr) with a (2-hour minimum). If the duration of the assignment goes over 2 hours the hourly base rate price will be applied in 15 MINUTE INTERVALS until completion. If an additional laborer is required or requested there will be an increase in the hourly base rate price depending on the number of laborers requested or required to efficiently complete the task. Our LABOR ONLY start at ($90/HR) for 2 pro movers with a 2-hour minimum.
Our FULL SERVICE base rate includes a 16-26ft box truck with 2 pro laborers. All of the safety equipment necessary to safely and efficiently move and transport items such as appliance dollies, floor dollies, protective padding, plastic wrapping, wrapping tape, and ratchet straps. Disassemble and reassemble of beds, washers, and dryers are also included in our base pricing at no additional cost. TV dismantling is also included in our base price however we do NOT offer remounting/mounting services.
Johnson and Taylor moving services have NO HIDDEN OR MISCELLANEOUS FEES OR CHARGES. All service quotes will be based upon the size and time of the move or task. We request communication via phone call before scheduling or confirming all services to access full transparency in the details of the assignment to better serve and assist you.
We require a 20% deposit be paid before service date to reserve time booking time slots. Deposits are to be paid via Thumbtack and will be arranged after receiving your service quote. All additionally payments will be issued after service is completed and will be the difference of your deposit and the the time it takes to complete your service. We accept Venmo, Zelle, Cash app, Thumbtack Pay, Square Pay, Chime, Apple Pay, Debit Card and Cash. If the any electronic payment platform is used as the method of payment the final bill will be subject to a 6% tax to cover platform service fees.

I cannot say enough good about my experience with Johnson and Taylor. Evan and his crew were incredibly professional, very thorough, and were careful with our belongings. There are no language barriers, both of the men were very capable and thoughtful and despite the sweltering heat, they continued to take on new tasks and help me move our furniture back in. Probably the best movers I’ve ever hired! And I’ve hired several.

Evan and his team did a great job. I had a very heavy treadmill to move they were on time and were great to work with! They put it exactly where I wanted. The equipment was about 400lbs. I would recommend him and his team for any of your moving needs!

Johnson and Taylor were on time and got straight to work. They moved very fast but also made sure to handle everything with care. All of my fragile things were wrapped properly as well. I also had a few miscellaneous items and boxes that I didn’t mention and he let me know from the start that he could take care of getting those on the moving truck but the fee we discussed would change but it wouldn’t be a huge difference from what he originally quoted. The truck was packed perfectly. It was driven from Atlanta to Florida and everything stayed in tact. I would definitely recommend this company for any of your moving needs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our base price is strictly time based, we have a 2 hour minimum If the duration of the move goes over the minimum, the our hourly rate starts to apply. The clock does not start until we arrive and does not stop until we have offloaded the very last item or completed the final task.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As we speak with our customers our onboarding process is very simple. We’ll begin asking questions about the move just to make sure we can actually provide the service they’re looking for. If we’re a perfect fit we’ll send a soft quote to the customers thumbtack account as well as text and email notification which needs to be verified and confirmed before the job is scheduled. Once it’s complete they’ll be logged on our schedule and the customer will receive text alerts as their move approaches as a reminder and estimated time arrival. The line for communication is always open with our clients as we are here to serve and provide top notch service.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 10 years of experience with residential, commercial, and logistical training. During my time in the industry I have personally logged over 3,000 moves within the state of Georgia. Building a trust worthy network of clients and opportunities my background in customer service and collegiate physical training has molded my brand as a top rated service provider in the area.
