I had a very last minute birthday planning for my boyfriend’s birthday and Sarah agreed to make a complicated cake for a tennis theme party. I was absolutely satisfied with the results! She made it exactly how it was on the picture I sent her. The cake tasted amazing, she added cherries and that made the cake so juicy and flavorful! Guests loved it and some of them even asked for an additional piece.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up baking with my grandma, she truly instilled the love of baking I have today. I’ve taken that and turned it into this business.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently had an order for a 2 tier cake and 3 dozen cookies in the theme of Dragon Ball Z for a child’s birthday party. When I delivered the cake and the child saw it, his face lit up and it made my entire day. I love what I do, and I love the feeling of accomplishment I get when clients love my work!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would say to ask questions about their work experience in order to gauge if they’re able to take on your project. Also make sure the baker you’re using doesn’t cut corners. Quality, quality, quality!
