It was an awesome experience working with Sarah on this cake. She made sure to confirm every detail of the cake with me. The taste of the cake was amazing, it was a chocolate cake with strawberry marmalade. She was very professional and kept me posted of the updates regularly. Would highly recommend ordering a cake from Sarah.

My experience with Creative Confections by Sarah has been incredible. She was punctual, professional, and the quality of her work is fantastic! She did an amazing job at my sons birthday cake! He loved it! It was delicious too. The cake was fluffy and almost melted in our mouths and the frosting is perfect, not too sweet, just right! I will definitely be hiring her again in the future!

• How did you get started doing this type of work?

  I grew up baking with my grandma, she truly instilled the love of baking I have today. I’ve taken that and turned it into this business.

• Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

  I recently had an order for a 2 tier cake and 3 dozen cookies in the theme of Dragon Ball Z for a child’s birthday party. When I delivered the cake and the child saw it, his face lit up and it made my entire day. I love what I do, and I love the feeling of accomplishment I get when clients love my work!

• What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

  I would say to ask questions about their work experience in order to gauge if they’re able to take on your project. Also make sure the baker you’re using doesn’t cut corners. Quality, quality, quality!
