Based on a referral, I was pleased to book Nick and The Grooves for my wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. I really appreciate how professional and patient Nick was during the booking process. He gave GREAT insight and it worked out well. I appreciate him really bringing his expertise and offering much needed advice. Nick also expressed enthusiasm about giving his and the band's best service for the evening. I never got the impression that it was just another gig. I was also very impressed with the variety of music they provided. I underestimated the repertoire of the band; at our request they did a very new Gospel song. I thought I was just booking Pop, Rock, and R&B. I was VERY impressed. I appreciate the band's service that they gave us, even into the wee hours!

Nick and one of his friends came to my house and played at my 60th birthday party. There was a very diverse crowd since I teach in the Atlanta public school system. Young people as well as people closer to my age totally enjoyed the experience. I had around 70 people, so he played in my basement to give people room to move around my place. Chairs were brought into the area he played from all over the house, so people could sit and enjoy the music. My friends loved the idea that I had live music, so that made my party one people still talk about. One of my friends even brought several instruments and he played along. He had a great selection of music and asked for suggestions. I would have him play again for sure on another occasion.

We hired The Grooves for our cocktail hour at Atlanta's Rialto Center. They performed as guests arrived for our annual BB ICON awards. Our attendees loved The Grooves! They provided great background music to fit the theme of our event. We really enjoyed the band and the soft instrumental jazz they provided per our request.
