Al was very responsive and came on time to fix our issue with the curtain rod. His prices are reasonable and he finished the job in a very efficient and professional manner. Would recommend him to anyone needing all sorts of handyman jobs around the house. Thanks Al.
He did an amazing job! We bought a house with dog stains on the carpet and he lifted them like new!
Nick did a great job installing curtain rods in our new home and finding a good solution for installing a dryer duct we were having trouble with. He also removed a storm door from our previous home to be installed in our new house. He was very courteous and professional and we plan to call on him again to help with a door installation in the near future.
I had mold issues in the crawl space of my rental house. Sick building group remediated the mold, replaced the air ducts and fixed the water issues. They were prompt, professional and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend their services!
Robert did an excellent job installing custom built-in cabinetry. He was fairly priced, punctual, and detail oriented. I will look to use him for future jobs and recommend him others. Thanks!
I hired TNT to do a rebuild and re-pitch of a roof over my sun porch, delete skylights, install 2 new doors for said porch, and fix various places that had water damage around the house, to include an area under the deck that was causing the deck to pull away from the house. With that amount of work needed, and before I talked to anyone, I knew the price for the work would be in the upper thousands. I chose TNT because they had a very fair price in the middle of the range of quotes I got, and the best value for that money. One thing I encourage anyone hiring a contractor to do is make up and sign a contract with them. DO THIS with ANY contractor, and LEAVE THE DEAL if they give you a hard time about wanting a contract. Michael and TNT have a contract already made up, and you and them can add/take out whatever you want before the job even starts. Michael even told me that he really liked that I asked for a contract because it protects BOTH parties. On my end, I put in a provision that before I gave him any money, I had to have a walk around with them and let them know whether or not the work was up to my liking. This was no problem, and they would answer any questions my wife or I had, and showed us examples if needed. So, really everyone, always get a contract!! As for the work, everything looks great! Our roof actually lets water drain into our gutters instead of leaking into our sun room. Our house does not have any more holes in it from water damage or animals, and it really helped the curb appeal of the house. Most important, the deck was not just pulling away from the house the joists under our master the deck was attached to were water damaged. I was shown where all of the problems were so I could understand what was happening and how they would be corrected. It only added 1 day to the timeline, which we were glad about. The guys (mostly Michael's sons) came on time, and cleaned up after themselves everyday. We have 2 dogs who use the backyard and the gate was not left open once when they weren't there. We can't even say that about ourselves. Hopefully you have read this far down and I hope I have helped ease your mind about going with TNT. You won't regret it. Ask for the contract, make it your own, and enjoy whatever project they do for you!
Gutter Master installed gutters, and repaired some fascia. They installed flashing where our metal carport meets the house where leaks have been prone to occur in the past. After a very heavy rainstorn I did have a leak but they returned to correct the leak. So far, very satisfied with the work and would recommend them to a friend. John Pruitt Conley, Ga.
We hired Tim and his team to design a custom built-in unit in our bedroom for storage including open shelving, cabinets, drawers, and a space for a TV. Overall, Tim and his team did a wonderful job. Their work is excellent and we've been enjoying the finished product immensely. They worked with us throughout the project and were very flexible as we made small changes during the process. Unfortunately, they did have a few internal hangups that caused some delays and a few scheduling hiccups. The doors and drawers needed to be resprayed more than once; there were delays due to other jobs that required me to rearrange my day around the team; communication was not always clear. However, the quality of the product was always prioritized and held in the highest regard, which ultimately made the hiccups worthwhile and left me happy and satisfied once the project was finished. Tim and his team are real craftsmen and take pride in their work.
Traci did an excellent job painting at our new house and we will definitely be hiring her again for future rooms! Our first non-thumbtack painter did a very poor job, so Traci had to come in and clean up his mess in several rooms. Punctual, precise and professional are a few words to describe the quality service you will receive. As an added bonus, our 2 dogs loved her so we didn't have to worry about leaving them home alone while she was working. Five stars!
How many times have I used contractors in my life? 100 times? 200? Maybe more. How many can I give a 5 star rating to? ONE! 3CB are amazing! They performed various projects in my house, the main one being painting all the walls, ceilings and trim. My house is an awkward 2 story, 3,000 sq.ft. home with high ceilings. They finished the job on time, on budget and to the highest standard of quality. I simply cannot say enough good things about this company. Leo went "above and beyond" in all aspects of the job. As my wife will tell you, I have ridiculously high standards and expections and Leo and his team exceeded them. As with all customers we changed our minds on several things and Leo accepted them patiently and politely. He too is a perfectionist and even repainted (a second time) two of our walls (for no upcharge) simply because he saw a minor imperfection in the walls (builder's fault, not 3CB). Simply the best company out there. He came to us recommended by some friends, and I will be recommending him to everyone possible! I'm connecting him up with a friend who is a high end home builder as I know he can do the perfect job for him too! 5 STARS as I can't give him six stars!
Unfortunately I wasn't able to work with James, as we had a family member who ended up doing the project for us. That said, it's my pleasure to rate him as five stars! He made the trip out to do an evaluation of a door that my dog chewed through- we knew it was going to be an expensive project because it was a custom door, but James (who arrived early!) provided excellent advice and gave us a quote that was significantly lower than we had anticipated (when he very easily could have taken advantage of our inexperience). He is genuine, polite, and trustworthy- and though we weren't able to work with him on this project, he will be my go to carpenter in the future! I was really blown away by his service and character, especially in light of a recent unsatisfactory experience with an electrician through Thumbtack. I can't speak more highly of him!!
Flash Home Maintenance has been a Godsend. I live in an old house and whenever anything breaks, need repairs or upgraded, I call Elijah. He has completed many minor repairs like repairing/replacing leaky faucets, installing new appliances, and replacing door locks; major upgrades, minor constructions and renovations such as installing a security fence, replacing the roof on my garage, building a nursery/green house, and adding a laundry room off my back deck. Flash home Maintence is the best; reliable, dependable and top notch in the profession. I wouldn’t call anyone else.

we built our dream house on a golf course lot - hired a landscape architect and came up with a high end plan. We wanted everything done to plan including hardscape, plants, lawn, irrigation and lighting done by one company. ELM was recommended by our builder. These guys just went at it!! Never seen people work so hard to get the job done and done to perfection. All phases are just what we hoped for and because of that I can give them our highest recomendation! No reservations whatsoever.
Big Mike's came out and built a loft for additional storage in my garage. They did an excellent job, it has held up well for over 2 months now. Excellent customer service, showed up on time and got the job done within the time frame specified. Very professional. He even used the extra material to build a quick dog house free of charge because I mentioned needing one to protect my dogs from the rain. I will definitely be calling Big Mikes to fix my deck up in the summer.
I worked with Keith Snapp to build our house back in 1994. In fact, it was 21 years in August that we moved in and we are still enjoying the house today. Keith was great to work with and helped us design the house based on Southern Living house plan. The plan was heavily modified to meet our needs and Keith provided a custom architectural design to make it a reality. It took approximately six months to complete and was completed on our planned date. We worked closely with Keith throughout the build process and were able to make small design changes along the way. We have been very happy with the quality of the design and construction over the years. I would highly recommend Keith as a home builder and remodeler.
I’ve known Jeff Kemper for the past 16 years. He and I have worked together on various projects together from Habitat For Humanity homes to custom built homes. Jeff is one of the most honest people that I have ever met. He is a man of integrity and can be trusted. He is an extremely hard worker and he knows the building business from framing to design work. He knows how to save a buck and he does an extremely good job managing subcontractors. The thing that i about Jeff as a builder is his ability to visualize ways to improve a project by making adjustments to the plans that makes the home, office or wear house more functional and many times more eye appealing. I like Jeff’s work so much that in 2001 I contracted with him to build my personal home and I’m a licensed builder.
