My daughter really enjoys her guitar lessons with Andrew. She had lost interest in learning string instruments with a teacher she had before Andrew, due to monotonous lessons. Andrew revived the interest in her by having a different approach of delight-directed learning and working on pieces that are interesting for her. I’m thankful we switched to Andrew.

My son has been taking guitar lessons with Mr. Horning and it has been nothing but a pleasure! Andrew is calm, gentle and for anyone, especially a beginner, he is the best! Very knowledgeable, encouraging and makes learning fun. My son will be taking piano lessons in the fall and wouldn't even entertain the idea of another teacher but Mr. Horning.

Mr. Andrew is very knowledgeable, patient and provides a “no pressure” environment. My daughter started guitar lessons a few months ago and no matter how she plays he tells her what a great job she is doing. We have and will continue to highly recommend Andrew.

Andrew is good at giving me specific ways to improve my ukulele playing. When a song seems too hard he knows how to break it down into manageable pieces. He challenges me without being intimidating so I’m able to learn in an encouraging, nurturing environment. Andrew is a great ukulele teacher.

Andrew has been a great teacher. He has been flexible when I have had some life changes and has been very willing to work with my musical goals stylistically (I'm learning the banjolele).
