I have known Mrs. Courtney for over 10 years in many different ways, as a teacher, a mentor, and a coach.
Mentorship -
Nonjudgmental listener/sounding board - there isn't anything I haven't or can't talk to her about without trusting her to tell me the absolute truth. With constructive feedback and a clear action plan that she follows up on.
Flexible - she is always able to make a meeting happen when I need it the most.
Value diversity of perspectives - being a world traveler, she has seen it all, and so she is able to see the world from my eyes even if it doesn't make sense.
Knowledgeable - I have never seen someone who knows so much and so many people in so many different places. She is such a good finder of resources.
What you want to happen, she will find a way or make a way!
College to career prep - specializes in finding the college and career path that is best for you. She was so transparent about the requirements, goals, and steps I would need to make in order to get to where I needed to go. She wasn't pushy and allowed me to make my own mistakes in the process.
Spiritual and life coaching - she was able to help me through my big questions, but not by telling me what to think, believe, or do, but by helping find the core of what I believe, what I know, and what I need to know. This helped me to prioritize what I needed to go in order to move forward in life.

Dr. Brown is a wonderful human being! She has helped me through what I believed to be one of the most difficult times in my life.
I deeply value the time we've spent together and the progress she helped me make in my life this far.
I know for a fact, I wouldn't be where I am today mentally and most importantly spiritually without her guidance.
Dr. Brown gave me encouragement to believe and trust the process.
She made me feel safe and most of all worthy of being loved when I felt like it was not possible.
She listened when I needed to be heard, she held me tight when I needed a shoulder to cry on and she reassured me that I have a purpose in this world!

Dr. Brown is an extremely considerate mentor. She's helped me manage a nutritional plan and regimen by thoroughly educating me on the process -setbacks, challenges, growths, and measurable goals.
Dr. Brown went the proverbial distance in guiding me through a nutritional transformation by pairing the process with a physical regimen. I truly felt cared for and supported while obtaining my goals. Unlike others, I could sense her emotional and mental investment into my journey as a mentor.
