FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices vary based on the client’s ideal vacation.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process for working with a new client is to first build a trusting client-travel advisor relationship. I too commit to listening to their vacation needs and wants. The next step is to outline a proposed budget and travel expectations for the upcoming trip. I research the deals and promotions for the proposed vacation. I outline in detail the expected cost for the trip and answer any questions. If any changes are needed, the changes are make effectively and efficiently; the trip price is re-quote to the client. If all parties are in agreement, the trip is booked. I work with the client from the beginning of the trip planning until the vacation is completed and memories are made. 🙂
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My experience ranges from personal vacation planning to receiving formal training through Avoya Travel Network. I too received formal training through the major cruise lines and took specialized courses for travel agents. My education and training continues daily with learning new and improved travel details.
