Jessi was great! She made the day run so smoothly. She and her team were able to handle all day of coordination responsibilities: they helped set up, made sure all our vendors were aware of the timeline and what they needed to be doing, she assisted with the rehearsal the day before assuring everyone knew what the drill was for the following day and they made you feel so at ease that no matter what happened they were going to take care of it. I truly enjoyed working with Jessi and truly appreciate everything she did. Bless you Jessi and a huge thank you for everything, couldn’t imagine the day without you!

I really appreciated all the work Jessi and her assistant did to make our wedding day special! They set up my wedding decorations and everything was beautiful! I was blown away by how tasteful and beautiful everything looked. The sweetheart table, the ceremony, the welcome table, everything was amazing. I appreciated their attention to detail. Jessi helped me create a timeline for the wedding and sent the schedule to all of my vendors to ensure everything ran smoothly. Every vendor showed up on time and knew where they needed to be. When we needed to adjust the schedule, Jessi talked through the options and was very calm and helpful under the pressure of a wedding day. My suggestion would be for Jessi or the assistant to stop by the prewedding hair/makeup time to be of assistance and help everyone stick to the timeline before the wedding. I also recommend providing clear information on how/when the client can contact you. When I first signed the contract, I wasn't sure if I should contact through Thumbtack, phone calls, or the Honeybook messages and it took a while to connect. Overall we enjoyed working with Jessi and would recommend her for any event coordination!

Patti, thank you so much for the review. Your wedding turned out beautiful and we loved working with you. As much as I would have liked to be in person at your hotel for hair and makeup to ensure everyone was finished on time, you needed my assistant and I to help set up décor so I had to be at the venue assisting with that as well as making sure all of the other vendors arrived to the venue on time. If I had an additional assistant with me, one of us could have been at hair and makeup. Unfortunately, the budget and package you chose did not include that. I did communicate with you beforehand that I would not be able to be in person for that and you did not express any concerns at that time. However, even though I was not able to be in person at hair and makeup, I did have each artist check in with me when they arrived to make sure they were starting on time and when they finished their services. As far as contact goes, anyone can reach me through Thumbtack, text, phone call, email, or HoneyBook. However, being in the wedding industry, I am out of office usually every Thursday afternoon through Sunday. I try my best to get to every inquiry as soon as possible, but inquiries received over those days sometimes may not get answered until Monday. I will be sure to be clear about that with future clients. Again, we loved working with you and wish you two the best

Best decision I could make for the wedding day! I planned everything myself, but Jessi brought it all together and relieved so much stress from me and my sisters. All vendors reported to her, decor placement was set up by her, and I just enjoyed everything.

Jessi with Simply Southern Weddings did an absolute wonderful job with my wedding! If it wasn’t for Jessi my day wouldn’t have gone off the way it did. She thought of, took care of and did everything I needed and more! She constantly kept me in the loop, reminded me of things I needed to get done, helped with suggestions when I didn’t know what I needed and created a timeline and kept not only me on it but everyone involved. She was always in communication with all vendors, myself and the bridal group. She even was there the night of the rehearsal dinner and made sure it went off with no problems! I highly recommend using Simply Southern Wedding for your wedding planning needs! Like I said if it wasn’t for Jessi my wedding would have never happened or turned out as beautiful as it did!

Jesse was amazing. Response was quick and always helpful. We had a little hiccup a couple weeks before hand and her customer service was outstanding and so professional. I would 10/10 recommend her. The day of I didn't have to worry about anything. She handled it all. I didn't have to decorate she did it. I didn't have to get people to do anything. She even cleaned up as it went. This is your girl.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on guest count as I bring additional assistants with me for larger weddings to make sure your day runs smoothly. I understand how expensive weddings are, therefore, I do offer payment plans to cater to couples that may be on a tighter budget! **Please note there is a $150 travel fee for weddings 100-300 miles from Sandy Springs, GA**
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we will begin with a free initial consultation to go over my packages and choose which one is best for you. Once you have decided to book with me and chosen a package, I will send over a contract for you to sign and an invoice so that you can submit your deposit. Once your deposit is in, your date is locked in and we will begin the planning process!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved planning parties and events for family and friends. I assisted with the planning of my brother's wedding and then officially had my first professional wedding when one of my friends asked if I would plan her wedding. Ever since then I have loved the process of planning and helping couples have a stress free wedding planning process.
