I was quoted a price and that was exactly what I paid. They had about five movers working on my move. The property I was moving from in Georgia was a 3000 square-foot, five bedroom /three bathroom home. The movers came in and quickly got my belongings on the truck, and did a same-day move. Though I would not recommend a same-day move, for me getting it all done in one day was important. thank you Mama’s Movers!!

These guys are great! We were moving my 80 year old parents to a senior retirement community. I appreciate the patience they showed with my parents. Still awaiting contact from the movers regarding my desk that they left at my old house. I've contacted them several times with no response yet. My previous movers were able to move the desk into my office without issue. The movers from 2 brothers could not get it out and gave up. I have already paid in full for the entire quoted move so I expect them to finish the job. There was some discussion that they were going to charge me the mileage to return. Unacceptable. I will revise my review if/when the work is completed the way it should be. They also left a massive gouge in the wall of my new home. Picture attached.

The movers did an excellent job moving my furniture. I did like the way they wrapped everything and made sure everything was secure. I had to leave while they were loading the last few items but returned right as they were finishing up. I asked did they complete the washer and dryer connection since I was charged additional for them to disconnect both and reconnect at my new home. They advised me yes they did it, however it was not done. So I had to have someone else come in and do it. Other than that everything was great.

I submitted my request and they quickly called us and accommodated us the same week to pick up our new washer and dryer from Home Depot and bring it to our house also bring down the old washer and dryer to the garage. Their estimate was the lowest of all the other moving companies. They were at the facility on time . Provided great service. I will be recommending them to all of our family members.

I hired this company because the reviews were great as far as the care and attention they put into your personal items. Todd, the owner was great to communicate with and very friendly. They charged me twice for my deposit - which was mildly annoying but ok.... I was told 3-4 hours for a 2 bedroom home, and boy, were they wrong!!! ...fast forward to moving day.... the movers showed up 2 hours early, which normally would be great! However, I had already communicated I needed them to come at noon bc I had stuff to do before they got there- so when I advised them that, they proceeded to come anyways, not giving me a choice. I made it work.... they came, had 2 movers bc when I asked for more I was told it wasn't necessary bc it would "be too crowded" they were friendly and pretty speedy in the beginning.... taking into consideration it was 90+ degrees that day and I had a few large items I figured it would be on the longer end than quoted. what I didn't expect was 9 hrs!!!!! they slowed down about half way through the packing from my old home and on several occasions, one stopped to chat about random stuff- while doing nothing related to moving while chatting. It took over 4 hrs to pack a two bedroom apartment and they didn't even get everything- they left all fragile stuff for me and my family to get.... they were not at all notified of any of the specific info that they were supposed to know about, like the second location I had already given the owner a address for- after several times on the phone, I expected them to have all that info already?!? we finally get to new location, and although they were faster unloading there, they put everything in wrong rooms and I had to spend days sorting it all out. now we are to getting my money..... as they were about to leave, they tell me 982.00 is my bill.... no breakdown of why it is so much, no receipt, just a man on the phone who could not answer any questions for me and only interested in taking my money... I was told Todd was on vacation and would advise me of these charges later... I contacted him 2 days ago and still have yet to receive a response. I feel lied to and cheated... I would never hire this company again. It appears from other recent reviews that this is a common issue for this company- misquoting times and overcharging. I wouldn't want to respond to my customers either if I was responsible for this kind of business practice... I'm very disappointed in what I received from this company. I'm moving again in a year and had hoped this was a company I would be able to hire again.... next time I will do it myself for 9 hrs- for FREE.
