Healing hands giving a relaxing massage followed by a two hour nap resulted in my riding my stationary bike for an hour.daily for the next 5 days. I had not exercised in six weeks because of knee pain and shoulder problems. I am so blessed to have met Joseph Ray, a gentleman and a caring professional who focuses on problem areas to make one's life most productive. Joseph and Bianca gave my Mom and I hot stone massages in my mother's home. What a fantastic experience! They have a wonderful, calming energy about them and were kind, attentive and enjoyable to be around. Very grateful for their incredible work that made it a super special day for us! I am currently visiting my sister, here in Atlanta, to assist her rehab after post operative surgery. As luck would have it, I royally strained my lower back. Although I am seeing a Chiropractor, I have also incorporated the expertise of Joseph. After an hour massage by Joseph, the results were amazing. We discussed a plan and I am looking forward to its end product ... No pain and more mobility. My sister also received a massage and was surprised how at the amount of tension she had developed from the surgery and is also looking forward to the regular visits we have scheduled. It is so wonderful to be able to continue the relaxed mode without a long drive back home. His knowledge and professionalism is most apparent. His skillful massage touch is to be applauded and recognized. We were at first apprehensive to have a male come to my sister's private residence but Joseph's professionalism immediately dissolved any angst we had. He proved himself to be a true Blessing in this situation! Thank YOU Joseph!!!

I have serious neck and shoulder pain and was in search of a massage therapist specializing in trigger point and NMT. Out of all of the Thumbtack responses, Joseph was by far the most knowledgeable and professional. Once he arrived for my first appointment, he conducted a comprehensive review of my medical history and concerns. As far as the massage, he had excellent technique and I quickly started to feel the results. We worked together to devise a treatment plan. I am 5 sessions in and I can really see a difference in my neck and shoulder pain. It is clear that Joseph really cares about his clients. He took time to research natural remedies for my headache and creates a customized lotion for each client depending on their needs. I am allergic to nuts and he specifically excludes almond oil in my lotion. I recommended Joseph to my cousin and she was equally as impressed.

Yes, we are required to obtain 24 continuing ed credit every two years.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was always told I gave good massages and I wanted to master the craft and learn more about it.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of my clients have some physical ailment; carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis, plantar fasciitis, chronic back pain, etc. I perform mainly therapeutic massage combining multiple modalities of massage to best assess the client.
