Introduction: My dog is my best friend, my fur child & a beloved family member. That’s why it can be stressful and nerve wracking if I have to leave my dog in the care of someone else. If you’re anything like me, then I’m here to ease that stress and put all your worries to rest. I promise to always go above and beyond to make sure your dog is safe, secure, comfy, and loved. I’ll be sure that your dog gets the attention, care, exercise, and fun that he/she needs & deserves. Whether your pup loves going on walks around the neighborhood, trips to the park, running around in the backyard, or playing a game of tug-of-war, I’ll always be sure to accommodate their needs. Mental stimulation is extremely important for our fur babies overall health, well-being, and mindset, so my interaction(s) with them will never be dull! I've always been fascinated by dog behavior, so I do lots of reading and research (along with my Vet Tech degree work). I never stop learning new ways to train, interact and care for my dog. Every dog is particular when it comes to what they enjoy most during their exercise time & where they feel most Some are more comfortable walking, playing with toys inside, throwing the frisbee, or just running around in the backyard. On the other hand, some dogs prefer going for a short stroll around the cul-da-sac or just getting a potty break & some fresh air. No matter what your dog may prefer, we’ll definitely have a blast together! As I mentioned above, I don't mind driving to the park (with your consent), walking certain trails/paths you may take your dog on, and such. We will have an awesome time either way, I can guarantee you that! My Background & Experience: I’m currently in school pursuing my Veterinary Technician Assistant degree, along with my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I’ve always known caring for people and pets (especially dogs) has been a passion of mine. It’s part of who I am, always has been, and always will. I have over 8 years of experience caring for dogs, as well as cats. Over the past couple of years I’ve gained experience dog walking, drop-in visits, and dog sitting (stayed overnight @ the owners home or checked in various times throughout the day - depending on owner's request). I also use to work at Patty’s Fur-Topia (a dog boarding/grooming and doggy daycare). I walked dogs, bathed/groomed dogs, helped out as a kennel assistant and of course played with the pups! I also previously worked with another dog sitting agency and have also been a sitter for close friends and family members over the years. I hope for the opportunity to give you and your fur baby the best experience while in my care.
