We hired J&J Construction to tackle the remodel of one of our greatly outdated guest bathrooms. The process started with Gislene coming out to do the initial estimate and talk about the project. She was extremely responsive and very professional. She explained the way J&J’s business model worked and we talked over timelines, design ideas, and my expectations.
After comparing the three other bids I had received with J&J’s I determined that their pricing was very fair and I preferred the way they did business over the other contractors. We set a start date and I selected all of the materials I wanted to utilize in this remodel. We had three different teams of professionals from J&J work on our project (Plumbing, Electrician, and Tile) and they were all incredibly professional, timely and very importantly respectful of the rest of my house. Drop cloths were utilized extensively to control the areas they were moving through and to protect my carpet and hardwood floors. They masked off the entire guest bedroom with plastic to keep the dust off the furnishing. They completed this project on time and on budget and the results were spectacular. We absolutely love our new bathroom and will 100% be utilizing J&J for the two other bathrooms we still need to remodel. J&J Construction did an amazing job on my old bathroom! My master bath was an 80’s style bathroom that desperately needed an update. Now I’m proud to have guests use it when they come over (it’s the most accessible for guests) and it was surprisingly affordable! Thanks J&J!

The working crews and owner are very polite and understand very well customer point of view.
Update: They have fixed all their water damage mess they did to my house after and during the bathroom remodel. 2 level water damage due to shower head sphinxter not being put in ( blaming a plumber for it)!! They received their (almost) $ and then another plumbing issue arises. Based on several master plumbers who came out afterwards. No plumbers were working on my bathroom. Those were" handyman plumbers and no real plumbers ". They didnt what they were doing. they forgot to put a p trap on tub drain. Simple basic knowledge!!.. Tub drain is leaking like crazy and damaging ceiling again just like with the shower head issue. the sink p trap is missing pieces . The tub faucet is coming to far out so the plate that should attach to tile is not attached to tile ( silicone was used...really . Shame on it. No silicone shouhld have been used behind the plate the master plumbers telling me. So actually water can go behind plate and water damage in future if that is not taken care of.
The owner is nice and is trying to fix all of his workers issues but I mean why would the owner need to fix his teams crap. It is cheap work and knowledge seems to be missing by those workers. The only team that worked with knowledge were the wall/sheetrock people. Everybody else. Don't trust. Do not hire this company. Save yourself a headache . 1 week turned into 4 weeks due to all the water damage. I now have to hire my own plumbers and sheetrock.people to fix plumbing issues and close ceilings and walls again.
They will say that "my" plumber took the plug off the shower head pipe there but thats not true. The same it is true that the tub drain is dripping water down my laundry room (again). Be warned by the pics . Do not hire. I have them 2 stars only due to owner trying to fix all his workers water damage they did to my house. I would have given them 1 star only. Oh and 1 other thing. They ordered the wrong toilet. Telling me this version is fine even though they received a pic of the correct WC beforehand. Unbelievable that the admin lady was trying to convince me that a dual flush is better than a single flush and told.me they won't install my wC but to keep what I have cause " it's ok to have". She didnt tske any ownership of her mistake.Aaahhh nope. All master plumbers were telling me that the dual flushes will give me issues later on. Well didn't I say so!! Cause I got a dual.flush in other rokm already and I specifically said no dual.flush snd no 1.6Gpf but 1.28gpf. But the lady just didn't care cause the workers I bet were already installing it for 1 hour and they paying them by the hour. Too bad
.if u make a mistake yoy fix it. Floor installation is also uneven and they didn't care. The floor guy just continued to lay the LVP. Look at pics . Tile guy didn't do a good job either. Grout is still not white after cleaning it. He dumped his stuff in my backyard and have my new tub two cracks which other workers again had to fix. Horrible experience even thought the owner was very nice and fixed everything that was damaged. But plumbing is still not fixed and they won't step a foot in my house again. I will have a real.plumber come in and redo their crap.

We went above and beyond what you requested, and there were pre-existing problems that you needed a plumber for anyway, and we tried to help you with those problems, even though that is not part of the original scope of work, and without compromising your budget. J&J construction painted the interior of my house and installed LVP in my bathrooms and in my den. Michael is a pleasure to work with and his responsiveness to our concerns exceeded expectations. I highly recommend this company for all home improvement needs.
