FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For vacant staging jobs, I will travel to the property and meet with the seller to walk the house. I will then formulate a room-by-room design and layout that will showcase the house at it's finest. Once the home is ready for staging, I will bring in my furniture and accessories and the house is ready for market within 48 hours. With occupied listings, I will first conduct a phone interview to assess the clients needs and schedule their appointment accordingly.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a certification from Home Staging Resource. The HSR Certification Program is the first and one of the only truly RESA (Real Estate Staging Association) "Accredited" staging training programs available.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I first began staging homes when I met a renovator who needed an vacant house staged and I just so happened to have a storage unit full of furniture. After that initial home was under contract after being on the market staged for just one day, what began as a chance encounter quickly evolved into an emerging business with rich potential for homeowners. I uses her background in business marketing and translates those skills to marketing your biggest asset, YOUR HOME. Just like in selling a brand, Clever Girl Interiors researches which demographic is most likely to purchase your home and through the art of staging is able to connect with them on an emotional level, to sell your home quickly and for top dollar.
