Vinny with Amazing Tile did a beautiful job installing my kitchen backsplash. I chose an irregular, handmade-style tile that required thoughtful placement and precision, and the finished installation is absolutely lovely.

Just as importantly, Vinny was genuinely pleasant, courteous and helpful throughout the project. When the existing wall conditions made tiling a few inconspicuous areas impractical without using awkward slivers of tile, he showed me the issue, explained the options, and we agreed that leaving those areas untiled was the better choice. I appreciated that he consulted me rather than simply making the decision.

There are two areas where I think the experience could have been even stronger. First, the need for edging wasn’t discussed until Day 1 of the installation. Confirming that detail beforehand could have prevented any delay. Second, one exposed corner adjacent to the finished tile required patching and painting afterward. I was able to complete the repair myself, but I didn’t realize additional finishing work would be necessary until after the installation was complete. That final walkthrough specifically identifying anything the homeowner will need to address is helpful, don’t skip it.

Neither takes away from the quality of Vinny’s tile work or how positive he was to work with. The backsplash turned out beautifully, he handled the challenges of the space thoughtfully, and I’m very pleased with the finished kitchen.

Five stars—and a couple small suggestions that could make an already excellent experience even better.

Vinnie was excellent to work with on our bathroom tile project. Setting up the original appointment went easily and quickly. He really helped us a lot with recommendations on the products we were buying. Loved how the tile floor came out. He was very respectful, professional, and knowledgeable and did a quality job in a short amount of time. The price charged was very reasonable.
