Great trio team. They were professional yet personal. I’m not the beat packed/mover, but they took care of my needs. Furniture was handled delicately. Team took the time to line the driveway to ensure no oil spills on the driveway.

Let me start by saying I have never had a great experience with movers before, including TRG. I guess the old adage "if you want something done right..." still rings true. However, my move with TRG was probably one of the better ones. Having said that, I did want to point out several issues that mostly boiled down to the crew being unprepared. I hired 3 movers and a 26ft truck to move *some* furniture (no boxes) from my deceased mother-in-law's house to my house. The job took about 4 hours total, mostly in line with what was estimated and quoted, and there was plenty of room left in the truck. -First off, they went to the wrong house (drop off location instead of pick up location) and called to let me know they would be late. They were about 20 minutes late. That wasn't a huge deal since we thankfully weren't on a tight timeline but was not a great first impression either. -They ran out of packing tape with an hour of arrival, brought no tools for furniture assembly/disassembly, had no knives/box cutters for cutting tape and shrink wrap, and other stupid things like that. They were in a rental truck and I assume that the previous crew had not restocked the truck or they didn't have enough time to do it themselves. Luckily, we had tools/knives and a little tape to lend and thankfully they had their manager come out to bring more tape. He stayed around to help pack and load things and we didn't get charged for the extra set of hands. The crew seemed reluctant to let me know they didn't have enough tape or any tools because its embarrassing. -Two items were damaged -- potted bases of fake trees, 1 terra cotta shattered and 1 metal with a huge dent. I chose the middle of the road insurance option and paid extra, not the free one based upon weight of the damaged item, and didn't receive any compensation for the damage because I assume the item value was too low? -The crew didn't wear face masks at all. We are still living in COVID times so I am surprised the guys didn't care or weren't required to wear face masks while being in someone's home. We confronted them about it and they said that its too hard to breathe with a mask on and they get too sweaty so they just don't wear masks. One of the guys started off wearing a mask but took it off after he started working for a few minutes. A couple of the movers also reeked of cigarette smoke so I am putting this also under 'hygiene.' -I never got any copy of signed paperwork nor a receipt for the job. I paid my $100 deposit online up front, of course, but paid for the rest of the bill in cash due to getting a discount on the travel fee. After paying and tipping the crew in cash, they simply left to head to the next job. This may be a minor gripe but is still strange to not have any paperwork or receipt for the move.

Great team who performed the move. They were punctual, actually even arrived a little early ( but called first) and were in and out quickly. They knew what they were doing, easily performed our simple job which was moving furniture within the house to different floors and did the job in less time than we expected

Details: Just a few things • Within the same building • Furniture assembly and disassembly • Equipment moving • Load via stairs • Unload via stairs

Nicholas and his crew were fantastic - friendly, fast and thorough. There was a mix-up with the start/arrival time but the crew worked hard to get the job finished quickly (a move out to local storage). Nothing was damaged, and they took great care wrapping and carrying furniture.
