FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every artists' needs vary greatly in a studio environment. While there's no one-price-fits-all, before any work begins, we work with each client to understand their needs, estimate a timeline, then develop and agree to pricing. For traditional "studio time" with one engineer, plan to spend close to $50 per hour, rarely more, often less based on the tools your project requires.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First and foremost, we'll get a full understanding of a customer's needs via a free phone call. Next, we'll discuss timeline and budget. By understanding these, we can be upfront and honest about whether we will be able to meet/exceed a client's expectations. Finally, we'll work together throughout the process, be it remote, onsite at Audioworx or at your particular event.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our experts have varying degrees including Electrical Engineering, Audio Engineering, Computer Engineering and more. Some are classically trained musicians, others self taught and each one of them has spent at least 20 years composing, performing, recording, mixing and producing music.
