Because our basement had a monolithic foundation, we chose not to jack up the edges of the foundation to lay down pipes that feed the sump pump. Instead the installed a system that attached to the foundation floor externally. In the long run I feel like this system will last a lot better and ward off any type of failure in the walls or floor of the foundation. Thanks to Jose and the guys for taking care of us quickly and thoroughly. The basement is good and dry now; smells better too!"See more

There was a misunderstanding about the charges( since my problem wasnt resolved I should not have been charged for the work. Shoutout to ERIC for a full refund of $450. I really appreciate FlowGood for standing behind their work and making things right!! 5 starsI DID NOT have a good experience with FlowGood Plumbing. I had a fairly routine plumbing issue with a slow draining toilet line. I found FlowGood through Thumbtack and they came early the next day. I discussed my issue with the plumber and he felt he could resolve the problem by snaking out the shower drain that partially shared the same drain line as the toilet. He ran a line to clear the drain all the way through the shower out to my septic tank. However, that did not clear my toilet. At that point he suggested to me that my septic tank needed to be pumped and recommend a septic company. He collected the $450 for the work he did and departed. My drain was still clogged and my toilet was not working. I called the septic company that he recommended and described my issue. The owner of the septic company told me that he didnt feel pumping my tank would solve my problem. I agreed and then did more research and called a second plumbing company. They came out and after some investigation and clearing ALL my drain lines my problem was solved. I feel strongly that FlowGood did the minimum to correct my issue and defaulted to some other issue being the problem which I later learn was not the case. They spent about 45 minutes at my house, ran their drain clearing machine through my shower drain and collected their fee!! $450 dollars later and nothing changed, in fact the plumber gave me bad advice on how to correct the problem. I will never use their service again"See more

I chose to pump the tank, install a riser and fixed an outflow pipe that wasn't correctly installed. Then they cleaned up after themselves. They were polite, pleasant and efficient. Robert D. says, "We hired two other plumbers to fix a leak in our master bathroom. Unfortunately, they were baffled about and unsure how to access the leaky pipe. With no luck, they couldn't even figure out where the leak started. Fortunately, a friend of ours recommended Mr. Martinez and he immediately knew what to look for. We have an additional bathroom on the other side of our master bath. He had to remove the mirror from the guest bathroom and tear out a section of the sheet rock and found where the leak was coming out. We had a copper pipe leaking into our ceiling. He fixed the problem where all the other plumbers were clueless. To me and especially my wife, he did a great job, fixed the pipe, place the sheet rock back, applied sheet rock mud, then he sealed and put the mirror back. Overall, very satisfied and he was very reasonable. I would hire him again in a heartbeat."See more
