FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In order to keep my license, I am required to have 24 hours of continuing education every 2 years. I plan to add prenatal and craniosacral therapy to my list of services in the near future.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was tired of working in jobs that I didn't enjoy and that caused me stress, so I began to search for the opposite of that. I've always enjoyed getting massages and giving them to family members, so I knew it was worth looking into.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Neck and back pain from tight muscles, due to varying stress factors, is pretty common. Deep tissue work is really beneficial here, but its also important to note that there are additional ways to get muscles to relax, such as neuromuscular and trigger point therapy. Also, strengthening opposing weak muscles can often help overworked muscles relax.
