I listen to what my clients want and use their most treasured items in a room. I find that decorating a room to be beautiful and interesting includes those treasures. When a room is pulled together, grandma's worn out chair doesn't stick out like a sore thumb and looks like it belongs! I literally get a high from shopping for accessories and getting everything I want on budget! I know all of the bargain places to shop which helps me find unique items for my clients. I also sell decor and accessories wholesale so I know what is in style.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I would love to, but right now I get my education from watching A LOT of HGTV and DIY!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always decorated- just not professionally until a few years ago. My business has blossomed from word-of-mouth- and the more I designed, the more I realized this is my dream job!
What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common jobs I do tend to start with the re-styling of a room and grow from there. Also, because I have worked as a marketing director in the apartment industry, I design mini-models, model apartments, and clubhouses.
