So far, we've only had one class. It's fast-paced, but I feel like I'm learning a lot. I'm optimistic that I'll be able to sew garments fairly soon.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I attend classes with industry leaders multiple times every year. I just completed a workshop with a major designer for Vogue patterns. I attend industry conferences every year.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I use a curriculum designed to build sewing skills from beginner to advanced. Most commonly I assist intermediate to advance sewing students with fitting and using the fitting to draft other patterns and sew other apparel. I have also fitted individuals with scoliosis and assisted with drafting their patterns. This allows them to obtain garments that are comfortable and accommodating to their various physical aspects.
