Repaired drywall around the ceiling attic space x 2 Repaired and sanded areas of drywall in a closet and bathroom They cleaned the floor up after the work was completed. Everyone do not clean up after themselves when they are done."See more

Liz R. says, "Started off great, they weren’t the highest estimate but also not the cheapest either. I appreciate the responsiveness and willingness to achieve my expectations on what I wanted. We had a in-law suite added onto our home which included : 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom , closet and separate sitting room/wetbar. The crew was polite and came in daily to get started. My only suggestion would be to continue sub-contracting the experts even on what they would consider the smallest jobs because for the price clients are expecting quality results even on the fine details. There were a few minor hiccups when I had to ask for them to redo mudding and painting. Other than that communication and/or a project outline for weekly expectations would have been nice. I give grace as I know things happen, delays on orders can happen, some things are out of your control, but things that you can control should definitely be a focus to meet expectations even if a little extra has to be spent to do it."See more

I hired Basement Kings to finish my basement, which measures 2,500 ft², with the intention of converting it into an apartment. Initially, Nigel seemed wonderful, giving my husband and me plenty of attention. However, things quickly took a turn for the worse. We made a $25,000 initial payment as part of a four-payment plan, and Nigel was scheduled to start on March 31. That date came and went without him showing up for 3-4 weeks. We had to constantly call him to find out when he would begin. When he finally sent the HVAC technician, we thought we were on track. But then we faced more delays. Waiting for the framing crew who didn't even finish framing our basement correctly and had to come back out to redo the mistakes that they made. After framing the already partially framed basement, he demanded the next payment despite hardly any progress. After just two days of work, he insisted on more money. He did manage one more day of work of plumbing with a completed bathroom that we already had standing. To make matters worse, when my husband reported a leak, Nigel never bothered to come fix it, nor address the leak. By June, after enduring his lack of professionalism and work ethic, we decided to part ways with him and hired a reliable contractor who started the next day. I am thoroughly disappointed with Basement Kings and would never recommend Nigel for any job. Initially, he had good reviews and was courteous, but that all changed once the project began.

I contacted Blink Home renovations LLC (Asha) to get an estimate to convert my basement into an in-law suite. Asha met me at the property and everything seemed to go well. He then told me that he needed to return "with one of his employees" before he could provide me with an accurate estimate. We were scheduled to meet the following Saturday and he canceled 2.5 hours before our scheduled appointment which I was ok with. He then rescheduled to meet me the next day (Sunday) at 4pm. After packing my 3 kids up and driving 30 minutes to the property, at 3:30pm I texted Asha to confirm that we were still on for our scheduled appointment and received no response. I then called Asha and he informed me that he was not coming. Asha with Blink Home Renovations LLC was completely unprofessional. The need to cancel or reschedule an appointment is completely understandable (things happen) but to not even have the decency to call or text me is not ok.
