Aravind G. says, "Mr Tuck is responsible, responsive and reasonable. he picked up the house keys from me and repaired and inspected HVAC, installed dishwasher and also check all plumbing at home. He updated the progress timely manner with photos and vedios. I highly recommend his services, he is trustworthy, very few like this personality. PS: I still need go the place and verify his work where the service is done. I will send another update soon. Latest Update as of Aug 28 10AM. Yesterday afternoon 08/17, I went to check, surprisingly the AC is not working, I tried to see myself if breaker or anything if off, but all okay, however the AC is not turning on. I called Mr.Tucker, he answered and said he will come and look at it in 2 hours, I waited all late night but he did not show up. He said he needs to pick some tools and come. Not certain when? I am really worried what has been diagnosed and what I have been charged for, I paid Mr, Tuck $490 alone for HVAC and another $330 for miscellaneous stuff to inspect plumbing and all. I called him again this morning, he sounded sleepy, could not understand what he was saying and the phone go disconnected. I am still hoping Mr Tuck will get back and check whats going on with HVAC. I will keep posted."See more

Jocksan called back the same day and even came to do an estimate the next day. He did a thorough walk through with my husband and me and after some discussion, Jocksan was able to determine what we wanted and needed and develop a course of action. I was further impressed when we received a quote before the end of day. (Which to my surprise, was 3k less than the guy before!) BBHRs prompt response was very refreshing and a great way to start a business transaction. His crew came out on the agreed upon start date (which was less than 10 days, if that!) and time and did a very respectful and detailed job. They cleaned out our gutters, filled in the gaps between the siding and windows, and even fixed little nuances here and there. I hired Basement Kings to finish my basement, which measures 2,500 ft², with the intention of converting it into an apartment. Initially, Nigel seemed wonderful, giving my husband and me plenty of attention. However, things quickly took a turn for the worse. We made a $25,000 initial payment as part of a four-payment plan, and Nigel was scheduled to start on March 31. That date came and went without him showing up for 3-4 weeks. We had to constantly call him to find out when he would begin. When he finally sent the HVAC technician, we thought we were on track. But then we faced more delays. Waiting for the framing crew who didn't even finish framing our basement correctly and had to come back out to redo the mistakes that they made. After framing the already partially framed basement, he demanded the next payment despite hardly any progress. After just two days of work, he insisted on more money. He did manage one more day of work of plumbing with a completed bathroom that we already had standing. To make matters worse, when my husband reported a leak, Nigel never bothered to come fix it, nor address the leak. By June, after enduring his lack of professionalism and work ethic, we decided to part ways with him and hired a reliable contractor who started the next day. I am thoroughly disappointed with Basement Kings and would never recommend Nigel for any job. Initially, he had good reviews and was courteous, but that all changed once the project began.

I contacted Blink Home renovations LLC (Asha) to get an estimate to convert my basement into an in-law suite. Asha met me at the property and everything seemed to go well. He then told me that he needed to return "with one of his employees" before he could provide me with an accurate estimate. We were scheduled to meet the following Saturday and he canceled 2.5 hours before our scheduled appointment which I was ok with. He then rescheduled to meet me the next day (Sunday) at 4pm. After packing my 3 kids up and driving 30 minutes to the property, at 3:30pm I texted Asha to confirm that we were still on for our scheduled appointment and received no response. I then called Asha and he informed me that he was not coming. Asha with Blink Home Renovations LLC was completely unprofessional. The need to cancel or reschedule an appointment is completely understandable (things happen) but to not even have the decency to call or text me is not ok.
