Ron put in a privacy fence and gutter work on a garage. Ron was very prompt to come out to give me quote and also start the work the next week. I am very happy with his work and will hire him again on other projects.
These guys were great. Two brothers doing their apprenticeship in carpentry who were such hard workers. Hired them to pressure wash my house, garage, deck and gutters, as well as tar around my chimney. They did a great job, showed up when they said they would. They knew I had a small window to get my jobs completed, fit me in around their existing accounts and got them done with time to spare. I highly recommend these gentlemen to anyone who values a dependable company that offers quality service.
I have a lot of projects and Restore 24/7 took care of my awful gutter project (house and garage). They were quick, honest, thorough, reasonably priced for the mess they dealt with, and they are professional. With confidence, I will refer Restore 24/7 to my friends.
Grandview did an excellent job on our garage door, and they also did some carpentry work elsewhere on our house. All was excellent.
Weisbrich construction just completed roofing and siding our garage with metal (squirrels were eating through the wood). Cody was professional and polite during every interaction, and he continually updated us on the project. Cody advised us on decisions that would be cost effective and structurally sound. Our garage looks great, and we keep getting compliments from neighbors and people out walking their dogs.
Honey Do construction has done remodeling projects, exterior stairways on two apartment buildings and a really nice two car garage with living quarters above. They are timely, creative in their designs, happy to listen to requests by homeowner, very competitive in their bids for the project. They are personable and genuinely nice people!! If we still lived in the town they work in we would not hesitate to hire them for our projects!! Sandy McCleary
I am a wildlife rehabilitator and was looking for help to convert a potting shed into space for wildlife. David was kind enough to offer his help and do the build voluntarily. He was very punctual, planned ahead, and was meticulous about his work. He built a wall and installed 2 doors to make the area a functional rehab space. I am very pleased with the work David does and will surely use him again.
I am putting plumbing in my garage so this is new construction in an old house. It was a picky poky job because of the location and the things I want him to do. He has done a great job! He was so careful trenching through the yard not to tear it up more than he needed too! He came when he said he would, worked quickly and told me he would figure out how to do what I wanted! He fixed some of the original plumbing and had to tear up my bacement to get the project hooked together. But when he was finished my basement was good as new! I would happily recommend him! I believe for the work he had to do his pricing was very fair! I also found him to be professional and friendly!
Give Brian a call if your looking for a handyman, he is prompt with a response, showed up when he said, sent a messsge 30 minutes before his arrival. He was very precise with his work, willing to do alittle more than he had to and gave an honest opinion. Brian is friendly, cleans up his mess, and I'm working on a list for more help from him. He is new to the area so building a clientele and with work like this I think he will do great, so thank u Brian again for helping me out, and ur great idea for the flower boxes/bricks on the corners and looking forward to u dropping those by sometime! Best of luck!
Mark installed a window in my garage and did a great job! He showed up when he said he would, returned phone calls and texts when he said he would, and his estimate was the price, no hidden costs. He's a great guy with a great attitude. Hire him!
LeRoy has completed electrical, building, and painting projects on my properties. He is a true professional and does excellent work.
Not only are the 2 ladies good at organizing, they are good cleaners too. My house was very messy, and they took on each room without hesitation. The sisters are very hard workers, and my house turned out just the way I wanted it. Not only did they organize the upstairs, they cleaned and organized the basement and garage. I was dreading tackling those projects, but they were no problem for Shelly and Carrie. The friendliness and down to earth personalities made the experience enjoyable. I look forward to booking them again to come help me.
I had what seemed to be a mysterious leak causing two large wet spots in front of the vanity on the wall to wall carpet in my small hall bathroom. I called a local plumbing company whose yellow trucks are seen all over town, to assess the problem and fix it. It took.two days before they were able to come out. The two "plumbers" examined the wet carpet for 45 minutes but couldn't find the source of the wetness. Oddly, they refused to pull the carpet back because they said it was not their company's policy to pick up carpet. They left charging me their fee for coming out with no suggestions or solutions to the mysterious spots. Through Thumtack, as a first time user, Dean replied immediately to my request and was able to come out the next day. With the assistance of his very competent helper, Dean immediately identified the source of the leak at the base of the toilet, saying it needed a new seal. He went over to Lowe's and purchased the parts and the job was completed in a very short time. I asked him to pick up the carpet and with an easy straight cut across the carpet at the doorway, I was able to dispose of the wet carpet so the pad can air out to avoid any further mold build up. I'll call upon Dean again to help me have tile laid down to replace the carpet. It is incredible to me that a large plumbing company in the Des Moines Area with their name suggesting high morals could not identify this very common and simple plumbing problem, leaving me, their customer, perplexed and stressed about who to turn to if a plumbing company couldn't figure solve the problem. Thanks Dean for solving what was really not such a big mystery after all-for you!
Honest and got everything on my list done
Mike Lientz supervised the construction of our 3400 square foot home from start to finish. He served as general contractor, but also performed "hands on " work as well. He has a detailed understanding of the entire house building process, and interacts with the subcontractors in an efficient manner. He is a skilled professional with an eye for detail, and thinks through suggestions for any improvements to the original design. When compared to other construction, the framing and finish work is among the best I have seen. He returns calls promptly, and is easy to work with. He was able to modify the original blueprint to accommodate our special needs and requests. If I were to build another home, I certainly would choose Lientz Construction
VERY REASONABLE, CLEAN, AND (finally!) PROFESSIONAL!! We are so thankful we found Colten! He was prompt, courteous, and in in spite of working very fast, he was meticulous. No messes to clean up after the jobs were done. We ask him to do several jobs around the house; most were maintenance, some installation. He cut to fit shelves in closet and installed them; the shelves required a cut- out to fit around a pipe. He installed and caulked one bath surround and re- caulked another bath to correct a poorly done job by another company. He made some repairs to the deck. He repaired an area of a wall and wallpapered it. Cut and installed more shelving, and a few other maintence jobs. This is highly unusual to say but EVERY JOB WAS PERFECTLY DONE! If you hire any other handyman, you are throwing the dice. We had never met Colten, we're not related or anything; this is an authentic rating! Colten even suggested a temporary fix for our deck handrail if the ironwork piece needed took awhile to come in; that's above and beyond!
I was really impressed with Trevor on his communication contact with me through out the week, asked all the right questions, punctuality was awesome. I had everything ready in the garage to make it simple for him to take away, he worked really fast, got everything out of my garage and didn't even take more than 15 mins. The price was great, I ended giving him more because it's hard to find someone who will take your stuff away for less price and I personally felt he deserved more pay for all the stuff he had to haul away. Excellent service, I would recommend Trevor and I will hire him again for sure in the near future. Awesome job Trevor! Thank you, Ann
Keith did some great work finishing my studio. I wanted to use old wood from the historical building, and he was able to finish everything and make it look beautiful. I would recommend him for home and business remodeling.
