FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Home inspection pricing is based on the size and age of the property. Standalone sewer inspections start with evaluating the line from the house to the main; internal plumbing inspections can be added for a more comprehensive assessment. All services can be provided as standalone or bundled for savings. Additional services include radon testing, sewer inspection, and aerial photography, giving you flexibility and added value for your property evaluation. Travel is available for an additional fee, depending on distance.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, I like to connect ahead of the inspection to discuss your concerns, expectations, and any specific areas you want reviewed. This ensures we’re on the same page and that your inspection addresses your priorities. On the day of the inspection, I perform a thorough, professional evaluation and provide a detailed report to help you make informed property decisions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was born into construction and real estate, giving me hands-on experience with how buildings are built, maintained, and managed. I worked in my family’s construction company, owned my own home renovation and handyman business, and gained experience in commercial construction, including trim, framing, estimating, and project management. I also spent nearly two decades in the insurance industry, including commercial underwriting and quality audits, which sharpened my attention to detail and risk assessment skills. I am a Certified Professional Inspector (CPI) and Certified Commercial Property Inspector (CCPI), and a member of both InterNACHI and CCPI, continuously honing my skills through ongoing education and training.
