Julie did a fantastic job catering my daughters graduation open house! We wanted foods that were different from typical graduation foods, so her menu was perfect. In addition, she helped guide me to order the correct amount of food so I wouldn't have tons of leftover. Also the presentation of the food was beautiful. So many people commented on how good it was. Very happy!

Local Yocals has easily become a family favorite. They are able to blend the perfect combination of incredibly fresh local flavors, and incredible chef talent. The menu as always has staples, but also has new flavors to try. If I have to choose a vendor at any event and Local Yocals is an option, we will choose them every single time. One thing I also appreciate is that they write where the food sources are from, it seems like everyone claims to be local, and this is the real deal. Well done.

Park Place Catering did an outstanding job at my son and daughter-in-law's wedding in September in Ames. The food was amazing and the service was also. Not only did they keep beverages containers filled at the front beverage table, which was not their responsibility, but they also cleaned up the whole kitchen spotless and even did all of our dishes when they were done. I was so impressed with Park Place Catering and recommend them to anyone. They take pride in their business.

    I recently asked Carlos to cater an 80-person lunch event for a symposium my research group was hosting at Iowa State. Carlos did a fantastic job keeping in touch, letting us know his needs and exactly what he would be providing. His food is absolutely phenomenal! He made it fresh immediately beforehand and kept it well heated during the lunch. The buffet line moved quickly and everyone was very satisfied with the choices. Prices were extremely reasonable. All in all, I very highly recommend Carlos for any of your catering needs!

      I have an annual memorial golf tournament for my daughter who passed at age 5 from meningitis. The tournament is our primary fundraiser for The Butterfly Fund we established in her honor to assist special needs children and their families at Blank Children's Hospital. This year's tournament is at Briarwood Club of Ankeny on Saturday, August 10th @1:00pm. There will be a dinner reception that evening that I need catered. The dinner would start around 6:00 p.m., and we are expecting 125-150 people. There is plenty of room on the patio for grilling and/or preparation.
