I've had 4 personal trainers before meeting Karlyn and she is by far the best trainer I have had! She pushes me past what I think my limit is and I've definitely seen improvements because of that. She's also very personable which makes her easy to connect with. Karlyn is extremely knowledgeable in her field and I have noticed positive improvements after working with her for a few short months. What I also look for in a personal trainer is someone who is easy to get along with and easy to talk to and Karlyn is exactly that. She is judgement free and works within your limitations but also pushes you past them in a good way. Karlyn is my personal trainer getting me ready for my upcoming wedding and she's absolutely terrific. She writes a workout for me and then we work it out together 3-4 days a week. I don't have any after photos yet but will post when I do! I would highly recommend Karlyn because she helps you to feel confident no matter what physical state you start at and she pushes you to be the best you can be and she always has a positive attitude! - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I offer a free consultation session to best help you make your decision. This consultation is where I will take you through a typical training session for you to get a feel for my training style. We will also see where you're at physically and be able to talk about your goals and needs. I have several packages I offer and would like to think there's a package to fit everyone's needs as I'm competitive with the current market pricing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?It's always a blessing when people want to get in the best shape of their lives. It's exciting! And with that It is important to me that I am a good match for you otherwise that cannot be achieved . I prefer to have an in person consultation before a decision is made on using my services to see if we are the right fit, I don't want to waste your time or mine. Once it is a match I ask for my clients to fill out a questionaire form to better create a customized plan for your fitness goals. From there on out.....THE FUN BEGINS:)!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am NASM certified and also have a background in power lifting, I truly believe this is the best method anyone ever taught me for learning proper form on core lifts and I utilize it to also proper form to my clients. I do not claim to be a power lifter or set up programs that are power lifting specific however if you want a trainer who will help you improve your lifts along with injury prevention through execution of proper form I am fully capable of doing that for you!
