- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know my customers. I will start by communicating with you by either text or email. Set up a time to meet and go over what your expectations are. I love to offer the trial sessions because it allows me to get to know you better.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended cosmetology school and graduated in 2010. I keep up on fashion trends and keep a close eye on hair and makeup. I enjoy seeing the latest products that are coming out and recreating those looks. I always practice, whether it is on myself or friend and family.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always had a passion for makeup. I decided to go to cosmetology school to gain more knowledge and ended falling in love with hair too. A close family friend asked me to do the hair and makeup for her daughters quinceañera. I traveled to her and thats when it hit me. It is so difficult to find a salon open early enough to get ready for your big day. Plus add the possible traffic and travel time. Brides need to be relaxed and traveling around just adds more unneeded stress.
