I started training with Kathryn in January. I am 65. I am looking forward to retirement and did not want to be limited on the activities that I could do. I had a stroke 10 years ago and have some difficulty with balance and movement. I have pain from arthritis. My left knee is weak and I fell frequently. I came to Kathryn to help me with balance and to improve my mobility. I had been in Phyiscal Therapy 3 times and had a trainer in the past. I came to Kathryn with not much hope. Wow! She works with my limitations and concentrates on training that strenghtens my weak side with out causing injury. My balance has improved vastly and I am moving much faster and have less pain from the arthritis. I can even exercise on the elliptical which I did not have the strength to make it move in the past. We had tears at first and not much eagerness to try new exercises. She has improved my eating and I am building muscle which is not easy to do at this age. No more tears and i look forward to my training. She is awesome.
Brianne has been understanding, dedicated and is very knowledgeable. I have health conditions that affect me on a daily basis, chronic migraines, chronic pain and fibromyalgia/cfs. Part of combating the negative ramifications and impact in my life, from these issues, is having the healthiest lifestyle possible. Brianne's training has become an integral part of that process. She is able to adapt my workouts on days I'm experiencing weakness or soreness. I'm grateful to Brianne in helping me towards living a better quality of life and hopefully to strengthen my body to be able to live a more physical and productive life. I met with Dee for our discovery part of the journey, basically talked about my goals and what I really wanted out of the personal training. Dee was extremely knowledgeable about many things and understanding about limitations due to my health. She didn't walk in and immediately try to put me to work , we sat down for a really long time and discussed what this journey is going to be. I so appreciate that she never once tried to push me towards a gym and she was understanding that after such a long illness I am basically starting over. I look forward to working with Dee and I am excited for the future in a very long time. Dee is fantastic.
Enhance FITNESS Coaching has been a wonderful experience for me. I enjoy the private studio and one on one personalized training. Kalynn has tailored my workouts to fit my specific needs and goals. Her approach is not only fitness based but overall health and well-being focused as well. I have found improvement in muscle tone, blood pressure, balance, endurance, flexibility and have lost inches and weight. During my sessions Kaylnn and I discuss my challenges and she offers suggestions for improvements. This has helped my entire family with meal planning, group exercise and even our sleeping habits have improved. Kevin has been a great trainer and pushes me to be a better version of me. Kevin uses different methods of training from TRX, to free weights, kettle bells, and machines to create new programs so you never get bored, which I've suffered from in the past. He cares about you and your progress, gives you a bit of tough love but always supportive. If you are looking for changes, then I highly recommend Kevin.
I love training at Fitness Together - it is my neighborhood gym and I really like the personal treatment. Since my workouts with Brian I have seen changes in my body I never had before and I have worked out for over 40 years! so glad they are here!!
I have had a very satisfying first experience with having a personal trainer. Prior to this I had always thought that such training could be helpful. Mostly I was intimidated by all of the different exercise machines and various work-out apparatus. My trainer, Khilye Sevatius, has been patient, kind, encouraging but above all else exceedingly knowledgeable regarding the process of taking an old dog and teaching him a few new tricks. Or perhaps a better metaphor he is making a silk purse out of a sow's ear. I am most pleased with the experience and continually recommend Khyile's services to my associates.
I've been a client for 3 years and couldn't be happier with the results. My balance is greatly improved and the strength training is superb. Erika is working with me on a new food plan and so far is successful.
For the past 6 months I have been training twice a week with Bryan from Gym on The Run. Never in my life have I enjoyed working out or going to the gym but Bryan has changed that for me. We do not train in a typical gym, time passes quickly and every session is different from the last. What I love about Bryan's training is that he's very knowledgeable and he does not use typical gym equipment. I was able to purchase the resistance bands we use in each session so that I can do additional workouts in the comfort of my home. In the past 6 months I feel more energized, my physical strength has improved and my body is more toned.
Nina has helped me reach a place I thought I would never see again. She pushes you to the point where you feel you can't do anymore, and then she shows you can, by not letting you quit and showing you her lovely smile which makes you want to do the best you can. She always let me know that she was there for me, by allowing me to call her with any question i had about training or eating habits. I don't Nina anymore but she stills care enough to want to know how i'm progress, which means so much to me. I did not just gain great results from Nina, I gained a friend. She very knowledgable about her job , if you want change your life. I highly recommend Nina Rocco!!!
Josh got me through my first Sparten Trifecta!! His knowledge of the training that I needed to be successful is amazing! My fiancé and I do his MMA workouts and my best friend and I do his balance, core and resistance training workouts twice a week. I also have him train my autistic son twice a month and will be increasing those as my son gets stronger. He is very easy to work with and does his best to design challenging and fun workouts so that the hour goes by very fast!!
What can I say about Amelia and the service she offers? She has a warm, friendly attitude combined with the knowledge to really challenge you. I did not think I could afford private professional training but I was really impressed with Amelia's rates. I had just left Axiom. She was just as comparable but without membership fees or high pressure sales people. The fact that she brings it all to your front door eliminated the biggest excuse to not being in better shape. I felt like the plan Amelia created for me was sincerely based on her listening to my personal goals and abilities. She is able to motivate and challenge without being overbearing. And her positivity is infectious and really got me to push myself.
I have been training with Tony twice a week for over a year now. I have been extremely pleased with the results and highly recommend his ability to assess weakness and develop plans to overcome them.
