Introduction: I love doing yard work! I have been gardening my whole life, and worked for years in a garden center,so I certainly know my way around the various plants and such. I love turning weed patches into a beautiful garden, but am also willing to help you with whatever yard work you may need. I am also available for petcare. I have much more experience than the average pet sitter.I grew up with horses,goats,chickens,cats,dogs, and a variety of small pets such as hamsters ,parakeets and fish. I have never in my adult life been without pets.I have been a foster home for a dog/cat rescue for 11 years and have taken care of well over 2000 dogs and cats,many with behavior problems or medical issues. I very much enjoy working with animals and gardening. Two of my very favorite things!

Karen did such a great job cleaning up an extremely weed-ridden yard at a house that was vacant for 2 years. The yard is now a selling feature of the house and we've gotten great feedback from prospective tenants and buyers who have used it. Very fair pricing, and she gave helpful information along the way.

Karen did an awesome job; I hired her to "get control" of my yard as my weeds were almost as tall as I was. She was a monster out there; the weeds didn't have a chance. I'll definitely hire her again when I get behind on my gardening!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meeting them in person,getting details to know exactly what they want.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Have been gardening my whole life,worked in a garden center,and always reading or watching anything involving gardening to learn even more. With pets,I have always had my own pets and have been a foster home to approx. 2000 dogs and cats over the last 12 years.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
It is what I am most qualified for and what I love. The hours also give me the ability to take care of my own pets and fosters. Also,I so much enjoy gardening. I love a challenge, taking an overgrown weedpatch and transforming it into something beautiful.
