Joe and Nicole were fantastic to work with for our corporate event. Joe provided straight forward pricing. He was right about the quality of his printer - it made a huge difference. He also provided great support to help design our photo template to align with our theme with short notice and a fair amount of back and forth. We hired Holly the owner of Hu's Assisting to help us plan and coordinate two large parties and she was amazing. My husband and I are both busy professionals, so hiring Holly to help us plan and execute these special events is simply the best decision we made in our party planning process. If you are considering someone to MC a wedding or event, look no further. I have been involved with large city events and personal corporate events, and I have never experienced anyone of the caliber of Rick. Charlene has done two events for me and completely knocked it out of the park! The first event, she actually took over from a planner who I was not pleased with. Charlene was professional, Uber creative and very timely with everything she said she would do. There were no surprises and no stress when working with her. The second event she styled for me was just as impressive as the first. I will now only work with Charlene for my event planning because she has a very high level of professionalism and creates beautiful events! I would recommend her to everyone that I know for her services.
I hired Lindsey through thumbtack to do face painting at my son's 3rd birthday. After speaking with her, she ended up planning practically the entire party! Lindsey is extremely talented and creative. She went above and beyond to come up with an activity for the party, plan all of the decorations (including elaborate center pieces and sweet table) and put together all of the goodie bags. Lindsey and her sister practically ran the entire party including the craft all while doing the face painting (which was excellent!). I highly recommend Lindsey for both face painting and her party planning services. She did a fantastic job and I couldn't have pulled the day off without her!
I am so glad I hired Heidi and her team to coordinate our wedding day. She communicated well, helped decorate and tear down, took care of tons of day-of details and really helped us to to enjoy our day. Charlene was great! She was extremely helpful, cheerful, and came overly prepared. We ended up using the entire ballroom for our corporate event instead of just 2/3rds of the space at the last minute and she had just enough extra table decor to cover our needs. I absolutely recommend her for any events in the future.
Tina was awesome! She helped me plan an event from out of town which I was very stressed over!! She previewed the event space, made suggestions and was flexible with our ever-changing plans!
Kristen and Jill decorated our reception venue BEAUTIFULLY! They met with us during our final walk-through of our reception venue and executed our vision for the space perfectly, truly breathing life into it. Their clever touches with the decorations and their artistic finesse really made a difference – we got TONS of compliments on the attention to detail in our decorations. Kristen and Jill were the perfect solution for us, as we were getting married and doing photos beginning at 1 PM, but we couldn’t get into our reception venue to begin set-up until 2 PM. We had originally planned a very DIY wedding, but Kristen and Jill saved the day by decorating our reception venue for us while staying respectful of our original vision. Plus, they were affordable. We highly recommend!!!
I have worked with Suzanne of Revelry Event Planning on several corporate and professional events over the past 2-3 years. These events range from smaller gatherings with targeted programming to large social events with major fundraising components. Regardless of style, tone, budget, etc., Suzanne is incredibly talented at recognizing the goals and executing the vision of each event. Allana planned our intimate destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas, and it couldn't have been more perfect for me. Allana located and made all arrangements with the vendors to provide the services required: officiant, flowers, food, photographer, hiring a boat. I don't speak Spanish, and she does, so I couldn't have done it without her. She found some really great vendors, whereas I wouldn't have known where to start, even had we been stateside. She managed everything day of, too, and everything went super smoothly, it was perfect! I enjoyed working with Allana, it's clear that she loves event planning!
I have had a wonderful time working with Bella Events. The graduation party that this designer put together for me was so beautifully detailed. This designer has a special way of putting everything I say into a perfectly crafted design and truly pays attention to every detail. I believe that is what ultimately makes a beautiful event. Throughout my event I was constantly getting compliments on the decor. This designer was great at communication, she valued my opinion, and she really stayed on top of things. The next event I have will definitely be with Bella Events!!
Daniela is a great HMUA to work with - I have worked with her twice and been very happy both times!! The first time was last year (2016) in May. I came to Chicago from Boston and decided to do a photoshoot to update my portfolio and headshots. The shoot was on-site at a temple and then the beach (which she actually suggested). She did my hair and makeup beforehand and then came to the shoot with me. She was so great, making me feel beautiful and encouraging me between shots. She would touch up what needed to be touched and offer suggestions of poses and expressions. The photos came out great and were my favorites from the year. Most recently, I needed HMU for a very last minute photoshoot while in town and she did a great job again. This time, we shot at a studio downtown and again she did me up before arriving. We started with my hair up in a chic messy updo and then switched to a smooth, almost retro look before a final tousled style. The makeup was flawless and really complemented my features. She was so meticulous and made sure I was happy with each look. I really couldn't be happier with it all. If you need someone for an event who will notice every detail and keep you looking AND feeling gorgeous, Daniela is your girl!
So happy we chose Chef Val and her staff for our corporate event! The presentation was wonderful, they arrived on time, and the cost was better than any other proposal we received. Everyone loved their food, but the biggest hits were the Deviled Eggs, the Garlic Parmesan Chicken Bites, and the Triple Chocolate and Red Corvette Velvet Cupcakes! I would definitely and use them again for our next event. Thanks so much Chef Val, you were a delight to work with!
From the time of our first phone call to discuss my son's party, Grace provided: excellent service, great recommendations and thoughtful attention to my aspirations for the event. Throughout the planning period Grace was quick to respond and handled all of the negotiations with vendors. Grace made it clear when there were action items such as contracts to sign or deposits due, constantly checked with me to see where she could support, and provided budget tracking tools through each phase. On the day of the party she was so supportive and helpful throughout the event - I couldn't have pulled it off without her!
