Introduction: My work stands out because I am passionate about my work. I have been working in the industry for 5 years (which in all actuallity is not that long) and I have been on tour with a band, traveled the country working for Cover Girl and L'oreal, been on a few TV shows and even worked with A list celebrities like Pit Bull. I have a very extensive kit with real professional products. I did not start out at a makeup counter. My kit varies with the products that work best for what I am trying to achieve rather than one line I am trying to sell to the client. I work VERY quickly and will always do my best to accomidate you. I love the glitz and the glam of working on tour with celebrities and on television, but what I enjoy the most, is doing makeup and hair on every day people. The people who never wear makeup and/or don't know how to apply makeup are always the most grateful!

I have been using City Lights Makeup Artistry for 3 years. I will never go to another makeup artist again. Paula's attention to detail, natural talent and passion for enhancing people's beauty from the outside-in is what makes this woman so special. When someone looks beautiful, they feel beautiful too! She is a true artist.

My experience working with City Lights Makeup Artistry has been nothing but pure excellence. I first worked with Paula about 5 or so years ago and since have been signed with FORD Chicago, on the cast of America's Next Top Model Cycle 16, and recently re located to Los Angeles. Paula is a major building block of my modeling career and her work is precise, on point, & beautiful. She knows what she is doing and is always on time, bringing great energy to every shoot. Definitely my go to team in the windy city.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I have been doing makeup professionally for a little over 5 years. I am a fully certified makeup artist. I graduated from London Eyes International Academy of Makeup Artistry and Airbrush Makeup Artistry Chicago. It is VERY important to choose a makeup artist who is certified so you do not end up choosing an artist who is "self taught" and doesn't know the basics when it comes to hygiene. I have herd stories of makeup artists using the same mascara or lip gloss wand on all their clients. That is how bacteria can be spread. I am sure the last thing you need on your important day is pink eye!
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
