Paulina Mateja

Introduction: I am a recent graduate from Northwestern University with a bachelor of music degree in classical guitar performance. Guitar sparked my interest at the age of eight. Two years later, I began to study violin, taking private lessons and performing in school orchestras and chamber groups. I have experience in teaching all levels of guitar lessons, and beginner to intermediate violin lessons tailored to fit the student's needs and interests. I am confident that I can give my students the instruction they need to develop as musicians, including technical skills, performance skills, and a background in music theory -- all, of course, tailored to fit their age, level, and interests. We will work together to create a lesson schedule that best fits your lifestyle and will make your experience with music what you want it to be. I am also fluent in Polish!
