Interior Design
Carolyn's creativity is very impressive. She helped us with two overlapping projects and blew us away with the selections she came up with for each of them. Seeing our house in the rendering she designed was so far from anything we'd have ever come up with on our own. She was always professional in meetings and quick to respond to any questions we had. We knew she was the right choice as soon as she got involved and started sharing her thoughts. She was very quick and thorough in picking up on styles and colors that we liked and applied that to her own vision coming up with a very impressive design. We're so happy with everything she did and look forward to working with her again. Thank you!

Carolyn was by far the best designer I've worked with. We are doing a kitchen remod and she listened to all my ideas and also implemented a few tools for me to show her my style, which she then took, and made a rendering of my new kitchen. There wasn't one thing I wanted to change! She also took into consideration our budget and our family and how it would be utilized and really hit it out of the park. I'm so excited to get the project underway and will recommend her any and every time I hear someone looking to undergo a project. 10/10!

The trend design group was a huge help. Very professional and an all around good experience. They worked with me and assisted in everything from altering my fireplace, down to paint color schemes (which I didn't really have any experience in or even thought mattered) I was very pleased with the finished product and will definitely be calling them again for future projects.

FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? We offer custom design pricing depending on the scope of the project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Phase I – Programming The Programming Phase is where we get to know you, your needs and wants specifically — for your new project, that is. The following phases apply to all types of projects. Our job is to collect as much data as possible about you, your business or residence. Phase II – Design Development Design Development is the beginning of conceptualization! We develop new space plans, furniture plans, and color palettes, as well as select your new interior finishes such as paint, wallcovering, flooring, ceiling and window treatments, moldings, cabinetry, countertops and architectural elements. This is also the phase when any custom-designed pieces or treatments would be rendered for your review. After we finish sourcing your job we meet with you to review the plans and finish selections. Then we finalize your design drawings and meet with you once more before starting the final detailing of your plans and ordering your furnishings, fixtures and equipment. Phase III – Construction Documents and Administration During the Construction Documentation phase it’s all about the details. We detail out all of your drawings so your contractor knows exactly what our design intent is and has accurate drawings to price out your job. After you receive several contractor bids and their proposed timelines, we assist you in reviewing each to ensure accuracy and fair pricing. We also draft and submit purchase orders for all of your equipment, interior finishes, and furnishings so items are received and ready to install before construction begins. Phase IV – Construction/Installation. We stop by the job site frequently to oversee the sub-contractors and ensure work is progressing on schedule and as planned. We meet with you weekly to address any of your concerns. Following construction, we coordinate the delivery and installation of your new furnishings, accessories and artwork. It’s like Christmas morning all over again! Phase V – Project Completion Before we conclude our time together, we do a final walk-through with you and prepare a list of any remaining small items needing attention. We also discuss the care and maintenance of all your new finishes, furnishings and equipment so you can enjoy them for many years and maintain their new appearance. *Please note not all of these activities will pertain to your job as defined by its scope of work.
