- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I always include materials and primer with my jobs and I ask for 50% Down payment prior to starting.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically start with an on site estimate. On that day I will give a quote on what the customer would like done as well as any recommendations I may see and time frame of the job. I also point out anything that may affect the quality of work that the customer might not be aware of. Such as cracks on the wall or ceiling, separating trim, wall plates that have been previously been painted over, etc. When describing these concerns I also give a solution on how to fix these minor issues.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started painting at a young age. I’ve worked for family and a few companies throughout the years. It’s something that I love doing and I have pride in my work.
