- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not charge for the initial consultation/visit. Once we've established what the details of the project are I will determine whether or not I will carry out the work alone or hire assistance. I will then put together an estimate that includes supplies and time-line. I charge .58 per mile.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process for working with a new customer begins with verbal communication about the project in order for me to know if I can help them. I'll ask for inspiration or reference pictures either via text or email, or offer to come and see the space (if applicable). From there I typically create a sketch, or help decide on colors, style etc. Then we agree on a price.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started my art career in Chicago in 1996 after attending the Art Institute of Chicago. Since then I've been creating artwork professionally for various institutions, and residential customers. My CV can be found on my personal website tracyostmannhaschke.com
