- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Piano and theory Lessons are $35 per 30min, $45 per 45min, $55 per hour. Woodwinds lessons are $45 per 30min, $55 per 45min, $65 per hour. Possible discount for family of 3 students or more. Plus an optional $5-15 traveling fee for lessons at your location. Regular or flexible schedule. All students are welcome to participate in our studio recitals held 2-3 times a year at no extra cost.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Getting to know each other is important for the start of a teacher-student relationship. For the first lesson or meeting, I usually spend some extra time exploring what the student's goals and plans are as well as their interests in different types of music and in life in general that might help connecting music and their lifestyle.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Master of Music Performance (Roosevelt University); Bachelor of Arts in General Music (Hong Kong Baptist University); ABRSM Grade 8 Certificates in Piano, Clarinet and Music Theory; Practical work training at local music schools in Chicago and suburbs.
