FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge 100.00/hour. Typically I work with clients twice a month. For those that cannot afford my fee, I can lower it. I have not been taken advantage of yet and many people can pay my fee so it allows me the opportunity to be flexible for others.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly reading all I can about the latest research and findings on nutrition and food in general. I also have to do continuing education to continue practicing nursing!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
In any job I have had in my life, my main focus was how can I make the person or situation better. I became a nurse later in life (30's, I am now 51) and worked at University of Chicago hospitals. Patients were very sick-some died in my presence. It was there that I decided that I wanted to be helping people prevent these horrible conditions they were getting, not helping them after it was too late (although that is extremely important too).
