The pet sitters were understanding of our dogs individual needs. They also worked to meet our schedules.
Belinda was great. She did everything we asked for our pet dog Sandy. We intend to use her again and definitely recommend!
Angie is the best! She offers everything we need for our pets - Training, daily walks, boarding, grooming, and sells exceptional food and products in her shop. I call her first for anything related to my pets and she always helps me or points me in the right direction. She's invaluable to our family and my pets love her!
They were wonderful and understanding with my shy (and blind and hard of hearing) Cocker, and he was well taken care of while we were on vacation. He was so shy he was reluctant to go outside, which led to much more work than I ever expected! They texted regularly, and did a great job of letting me know how things were going. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for caring dog walkerss.
I am really glad I chose muttsleys pet service to walk my dog. Jackie, the owner, comes three times a week to walk my dog and my dog absolutely loves her! She is very punctual and responds immediately to my texts. The service is terrific!
Working with with Pawfect Dog Training was an amazing experience. We adopted a new puppy from the shelter and wanted to crate train her, so she would be comfortable in her crate when we were not home. Matthew did a great job training our dog to go into the crate on her own and feel comfortable in there. More importantly he helped teach us the right way to train her and taught us how to keep up with that training to get positive results. After only a few weeks of working with Pawfect and keeping up with our training at home, our puppy had no problem going in her crate on her own. Now she is so comfortable with her crate that she will go relax in there even when we are home! I definitely recommend anybody to work with Pawfect Dog Training to help train their dogs!
I would recommend Scott for boarding your dogs! He took amazing care of my 2 dogs so my family could take a last minute vacation. He was amazing with them! Thank you!
Brenda actually was our doggie walker and is very reliable. My dogs were always content when I came home. She never missed a day and was very flexible with our ever changing crazy schedule. I would definitely recommend her services and will continue to use her with our pets! She also looked out after our kitty!
Lisa is a devoted animal loving individual. If you want some one that sincerely will love & care for your pet, she is the one.
Nicole at Great Pet Vacations was a Godsend to our family. Our 14 month old yorkie poo was disobedient and had awful manners. We did not have the skills to change the situation. In June, we did 9 days of board and train with Nicole and we all were amazed at the initial results. Cocoa immediately was more reliable with potty training, would not cry in her cage and did not attempt to escape her pen. In July, she went back for the additional 12 days of the board and train program and can now sit, lay, target, walk on a leash, leave an item alone and is a calmer more obedient dog. Nicole is a miracle worker and takes her time demonstrating how to continue working on reinforcing the behavior with the owners to ensure continued success at home. She spent more than an hour with us at the intake consultation in order to understand our training goals. In addition, she spent more than 2 hours upon exit. It is clear she loves the animals she cares for, treats boarded dogs as her own, and is a superb dog trainer. This experience was every thing I hoped for and more than I expected. We plan to continue training sessions with Nicole and give her our highest recommendation to others.
Sharlene took great care of our two dogs while we were on vacation! Our minds were at ease knowing that she was caring for them! We would recommend Sharlene and will use her again to take care of our pets in a heart beat!
Top notch dog trainer. Professional and very knowledgeable. It was only a week before I noticed huge differences in my dog's behavior, and taught easy to use techniques to help maintain good behavior. Highly recommended!
Jeanne has been watching our dog for 7 years! She does a great job and is very accomodating, especially with last minute schedule changes sue to the airlines! Our dog loves to go to Jeanne's, and we can relax in knowing that our dog is being well-cared for and getting all the attention that she needs!
Four Paws Pet Sitting has been a lifesaver to me and my husband. We both work very sporadic hours and they have been very accommodating to help get our dogs out on long days. My dog can be challenging at times but both Denise and staff are experienced working with animals. I trust them fully!
OUTSTANDING! I was blown away by the exceptional care Sue provided for my Dog Penny while I was away on vacation for a week. Prior to my trip, Sue took the time to ask me detailed questions regarding Penny’s daily schedule, rules, routines, etc. She went the extra mile to make sure Penny felt as comfortable as possible while I was away. Also, Sue sent me pictures and updates of Penny which gave me peace of mind and lots of smiles! By far the best pet sitter I’ve EVER had and I will continue to have Sue care for Penny when I’m away. 5 stars!
She was a tremendous help. She came in today, evaluated my dog and gave me lots of helpful hints. She is highly recommended.
I am very happy with the service.
Entrusting Mr. Barkypants, my first-born son, to a dog walker is akin to how I imagine it might feel to someday entrust a less furry child of mine to a nanny: He/She sure as hell better be committed, conscientious, able to survive blizzards*, and love Mr. Barkypants as his/her own. Using this (perhaps slightly unreasonable) standard, I interviewed many, many dog walkers before I found Walks With Zara Chicago Dog Wlalkers, a dog walking company that Russell and his business partner own and operate. Though I haven't yet had to put them to the blizzard test*, it is clear that Russell is an excellent dog walker and human being. I feel strongly about not having just any random person walk Mr. Barkypants: I've witnessed how some walkers who work at larger operations treat (or rather mistreat) the 5-10 dogs they walk at once. Sadly, it doesn't seem uncommon for some dog walkers, on the north-side at least, to roughly yank leashes or yell and scream at dogs, or to refuse to stop walking to allow one of their charges to use the little dog's room, or to tie dogs up to a post in the park while the walker enjoys a cigarette and long chat with his friends. I am confident that Russell does NOT do this; Mr. Barkypants would probably behave very differently with him than he does. Interestingly, though Mr. Barkypants isn't terribly fond of strangers and he is particularly non-fond of strangers who are male and who wear hats, he took to the hat-wearing Russell like he took to liver treats from the first or second walk on. Russell has a gentle, quiet, calm, non-domineering manner with dogs (and humans, really). He isn't embarrassed about speaking to dogs in goofy voices -- a talent I quite appreciate. Moreover, wrt his human dealings, too, Russell is prompt and as honest as Abe: He lets us know when he isn't able to walk a full hour (because of severe weather or sickness) and deducts from his pay despite our asking him to take the full amount. Rates, by the way, are extremely reasonable for Chicago dog walking, especially since Mr. Barkypants gets Russell all to himself on walks. According to their website, Russell is bonded and insured as a dog walker and is a member of the Association of pet sitters. I can speak with knowledge about Russell's excellent credentials as a dog walker. He *will* treat your dogs with respect and patience -- or at least I'm pretty sure they will based on how they've treated my first born son. I can't recommend him enough.
New To Thumbtack
I offer pet care of all kinds. I've previously worked at Stay, a modern dog hotel, where I was the shift manager and in charge of feeding and medications for the animals.
New To Thumbtack
I'm all about satisfying the pet. When the pet is satisfied, so is the Owner/Relative.

I have a small cleaning business in addition to my regular job (school bus driver). I only clean bathrooms and kitchens. I would like to add/incorporate pet sitting/pet walking.
