I received a confirmation immediately from art proficiency but there was no follow-up for a week. I called 30 minutes prior to the confirmed appointment and the installer had no idea that my appointment was scheduled. He sounded uninterested and quoted me an outrageous price.

I'm very sorry you feel that way about our conversation. Unfortunately, the quote given to you is our normal rate, which 100 per hour with a 3 hour minimum and travel. Also, we are art installers and not handy men to work on your shelves.
