UPDATE SCH returned yesterday and fixed the issues noted above. which I greatly appreciate. ORIGINAL REVIEW Sebastian from SCH is an amateur who over-sold his ability to do a simple pocket door installation. It was obvious that he didn’t how to do it once the work started. He: 1. Didn’t properly prep the work area or ask that I remove items that could be damaged or dirtied during the repair 2. Demolished more than needed to be demolished which increased the cost and time associated with the work 3. Lacked attention to detail – the cylinders were not properly installed, painting was sloppy 4. Cut wood in my grass leaving a file of wood shavings in my grass that I could not completely get out of the grass 5. Didn’t have the proper tools as evidenced by the uneven cuts 6. Used unprimed wood instead of primed trim and then didn’t prime the wood. Painting is uneven and generally amateurish 7. Charged $700 more than his original estimate He was made aware of these issues and scheduled a follow-up to repair and didn’t show. They are now scheduled to return this Saturday to address these issues. I will update this review once the issues above have been resolved. As of today, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIRING SCH Remodeling. I have had great luck with other providers on this app and have never had to complain about a craftsman, so the fact that I took time to write this review is an indication how disappointed I am in the quality of the work.
