Introduction: We provide the following professional services at a great value: - Tracking (rental of full space with engineer) -- $40/hour - Tracking in 12-hour blocks -- $420 ($35/hour) - Mixing by JB -- $40/hour Studio 1 has all the equipment and expertise to help you create a professional song, demo, or album right in the heart of Chicago. Our studio is 1,000 sq. ft. of live recording space, which can be configured for almost any setup (no full orchestras, please). Two physical elements determine the final production quality: acoustical environment and equipment. Studio 1 was designed and built to professional standards in both these areas. Acoustical environment - 3 recording spaces: Live room, vocal booth, and drum room - 8" hardwood floating floor - Drum room has measured STC of 58 with 16 XLR for versatile mic setups - Over 100 sound absorbers/bass traps - Custom designed mixing area - 3 remote amp boxes
