- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I specialize in fully customized itineraries, and my fee will be determined after our initial (free) consultation, based on the length of the trip and the amount of planning involved. Please don’t forget that I’m offering the first 5 clients who sign up with me a flat fee of $100.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will schedule a free 30 minute consultation, in person or via Google Meet, at which time we’ll discuss the trip you're planning, as well as what you've liked (and what you've not liked) about previous trips. This meeting is your opportunity to determine if we are going to be a good fit working together. From there we’ll agree upon a fee, and then I’ll create a custom proposal complete with hotel and transportation options, sightseeing ideas, and restaurant recommendations. After you've had a chance to go over the proposal, we'll meet again to finalize your itinerary and set up any required deposits and payments.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member of ASTA (American Society of Travel Advisors), and of CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association) as well as my local Chamber of Commerce. I participate in ongoing training with various hotel chains, cruise lines, and tourism boards.
