Please read before contacting me! I do NOT hang televisions. My rates for art installation are based hourly and include all standard hardware. My rates for jobs within the city of Chicago are $120 for the first hour and then 100 per hour afterwards. For jobs in the surrounding nearby suburbs there is a travel fee based on location. Everything sounds fine? Great! I look forward to hearing from you. Safety is my number one concern. If the work is not secure then the job is not complete. I pride myself on solving difficult problems and maintaining professionalism. As an artist by training, I have a keen eye for placement of objects in an aesthetically balanced and pleasing manner. I love art and feel privileged to be able to use my talents helping people find the best possible placement for their art. Whether it's a single painting on the wall or an arrangement of family photos. I derive great satisfaction from helping people feel more at home in the spaces they use the most.

Jason arrived on time with all the necessary tools to hang my original artwork from New Orleans. He was patient and kind helping me to decide where best, and how they should be hung. He's a perfectionist with his work with an eye for detail. Anyone can hammer a nail in the wall and hang artwork. But not everyone knows how to properly place it on the walls with the perfect height. spacing. leveling. and overall presentation. I would use hin again.

What can I say... Jason is complete first class/demonstrates undeniable top rated service in picture hanging. Not only does he listen to your thoughts (and values them- no judgment), he gives you great ideas to build off your vision. I cannot praise him enough. So professional, kind, and easy to work with; comes prepared (all tools on hand) and takes what he learned from his Art History Major into play. We found Jason through Thumbtack and after reading many great reviews on him we hired him to work on several projects in our home. Jason did a remarkable job hanging pictures and building 2 collage walls. His advice and guidance on hanging art is really impressive and when he showed us how art should be hung on a wall, we were blown away by how much difference a new location or several inches up/down could make. Jason also hung up a very heavy mirror that came in 3 pieces. He was able to handle that without any issues, he aligned it perfectly in the middle of the wall, all 3 pieces came together with no gaps, very impressive!! His communication and patience was very humbling, great customer service. We will hire back Jason for sure and we highly recommend him!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    Typical installation runs 75 p/h. There is a two hour minimum for jobs outside of Chicago.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    Typically I consult with a client to ascertain how many pieces they have and if there is anything out of the ordinary that might need special attention. When installing I take special care to place art in locations that drive attention through a space striking a balance that is complementary to both the art and the space.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I have a Bachelors in Art History with emphasis in visual criticism. I have also worked in the interior design field for close to 20 years. I’ve worked with everyone from architects to interior designers, from art consultants to home owners to best compose visual art plans for display in homes and offices.
